I was so disappointed by the experience and beyond shocked by the prices . $58 for a bowl of pasta that looked like a bowl of muck. I felt awful as I booked this restaurant and felt embarrassed that my friends were forced to pay the prices akin to a five star elevated dining experience you would find in Margaret except, the food was not even as good as a pub meal . The waitress was lovely but otherwise it was a really terrible evening as I felt completely ripped off .

I do not recommend this place if you come in with more than 3 pax for the earlier seating. We had group of 10, and half of them were children under 5. So we still paid the 10% service fee but that's not the point. We had 0 service. One word: RUSHED. They were rushed to take our order, all the dishes comes at ONCE but the table was so SMALL! RUSHED to take the dishes. because they need to be ready for the next seating we got here 5:15 we have to vacate by 7.. ??? . For GOODNESS sake, it will be a lot BETTER you dont serve us degustation menu then.. might as well do a 3 course or something.. It just feels like dine in a hawkers market where you just need to quickly eat and go. Now why would we want to do that when you ordered some nice wine and you're in Double Bay? I think this experience was truly.. unsatisfactory.

Nice ambience, good service and drinks but the food needs attention. The sauce served with the sausage roll rendang was tasteless and an odd choice for the entree. The coral trout main was supposed to be with a yellow curry but again the sauce was watery and devoid of flavour. It was accompanied by nothing other than a few pickled tomatoes. Disappointing for $68.

We were very unhappy with our Squid dishes It was chewy & we left it We did complain to the manager but they didn’t take off From our Bill. We still had to pay that’s unfair You don’t treat your customers like that. Will never go again this restaurant Unhappy experience
