The food was excellent. Service was slightly slow due to it being very busy but the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Warm friendly welcome. Service excellent. Food (all had roast beef) very nicely cooked, with lots of lovely vegetables. Crumble to finish. We picked the pub randomly as it is approx halfway between Bath and our friends’ home, v glad we found it. Would defo meet them there again.

The new ownership certainly shows! They've worked really hard to make the pub a success and it really shows. Great meal and service! Definitely recommend it.

We were made welcome as soon as we entered and the relaxed atmosphere of the place made for an enjoyable perusal of the food/wine menus. We will definitely be returning to try more options on the menus. The service was well-timed and friendly, the food/wines/ales were all reasonably priced and lead to an enjoyable evening out.

We went on a Saturday. Friendly service and prompt. Our mains were small portions and didn't come with enough vegetables, e.g. the trout was a small fillet slice stacked on a few sauteed potatoes with no veg. I didn't notice a vegetarian main apart from a branded burger option. Its a lovely pub and great location, just the food was a little disappointing for our family get together.

Enjoyed the food and the service was great however not much room between tables so felt like sitting with the party next to us.
