We were made welcome as soon as we entered and the relaxed atmosphere of the place made for an enjoyable perusal of the food/wine menus. We will definitely be returning to try more options on the menus. The service was well-timed and friendly, the food/wines/ales were all reasonably priced and lead to an enjoyable evening out.

We went on a Saturday. Friendly service and prompt. Our mains were small portions and didn't come with enough vegetables, e.g. the trout was a small fillet slice stacked on a few sauteed potatoes with no veg. I didn't notice a vegetarian main apart from a branded burger option. Its a lovely pub and great location, just the food was a little disappointing for our family get together.

Lovely setting and charming staff but let down by poor food - overcooked vegetables roast chicken which was not cut from A roast but a supreme boiled and deep fried - gravy that was the same for all roasts - good potatoes and Yorkshires but overall very disappointing

Great pub with excellent food and service. Came for lunch with old work friends and found it after searching for somewhere perfect- well I certainly found it!

The Bathurst Arms is a good country pub/restaurant situated a short drive from Cirencester. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of choices for a lunchtime visit, with small plates, pub classics and some interesting additions, such as the King Prawn coconut curry that I tried. Service was relaxed and friendly. However we, were surprised to be almost the only customers in the dining area for most of our Friday lunchtime visit. It deserves to be busier!

We discovered this place using open table late last year. We have been there four times now. Each time it gets better. Love it.
