Barrio Queen is the best restaurant in Phoenix for authentic Mexican food and craft cocktails. Our food pays homage to history and culture by serving fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine using traditional recipes from barrios throughout Mexico. Our extensive tequila and mezcal list set the stage for our array of fun, flavorful drinks. Each has a personality all its own! Our waiter was beyond horrible. He seemed irritated to do his job. My daughter & her boyfriend got waters and they both had to refills. He groaned several times like when I asked him refills on chips & salsa and my Arnold Palmer. He was grumpy, impolite and completely rude. We order sides of rice to which he ignored all together. The food was amazing. Hats off to chef and kitchen staff.

We’ve been here before but the new ability to make reservations is a huge plus!!! We had friends in from out of town and they loved the ambience, food and service…perfect evening!

We’ve eaten here many times. What’s happened? It’s not good anymore! The chips were greasy. Our tacos must have been up for a long time before they were served because they were cold and soggy. There was only a tater tot sized portion of fish in each of my fish tacos. The tres leches dessert was bits of pound cake layered with old strawberries and spray canned whipped cream doused in watery cinnamon milk. We won’t be back. So disappointing!

Too long to seat and food was okay. Service took time but with prompt when coming back with order.

We look forward to eating here since the food is awesome. Service was very good. We enjoyed the Barrio bowl, steak fajitas and chicken and cheese enchiladas with mole - all delicious!

Table side guacamole is the best. Food was very good. Our waiter Jeffrey was very friendly and accommodating. One of favorite outdoor restaurants.

Waiter took a while to get our drinks. Food was okay they had more variety of food and drinks before. Would probably be my last option to go if nearby again…
