Barrio Queen is the best restaurant in Phoenix for authentic Mexican food and craft cocktails. Our food pays homage to history and culture by serving fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine using traditional recipes from barrios throughout Mexico. Our extensive tequila and mezcal list set the stage for our array of fun, flavorful drinks. Each has a personality all its own! Delicious food, servers have been very good to me each time I've dined there. A little noisy during busy hours but I was still well taken care of.

Great experience. We went through n for their Valentines special but discovered it was different from what we had seen online. We were disappointed as items we particularly wanted were not on the menu. The server apologized for the difference. Shortly thereafter, Brian the manager came over and again apologized. He comped the guacamole (a house special) and allowed us to get the dessert we had wanted. We hadn’t continued to complain after the first discussion with the server. They could have ignored it but instead went above and beyond.

Not the best Mexican we’ve had, not the worst. Very middle of the road Mexican food, fairly slow service. Cute interior and seems like a fun vibe, although we got sat in the grandma and grandpa section…

We sat outside on a beautiful AZ evening where we enjoyed great food, best service from our server and would highly recommend this location.
