The beer is great. The food and service is decent enough if you’re not in a hurry. Our server was a little overwhelmed and seemed to forget about us a couple times. My wife’s wings took quite a while to come out, long enough that my burger was borderline cold by the time hers arrived. The nachos were big and good though.

We drove out to see the planes and this place did not disappoint. Loved the Diane burger from Tucson

The main reason for taking away one star was the fact that we made a reservation for a certain type of table, and when we got there they said that none of those tables were available. The point of reserving a table in advance is so one will be available when we arrive. Overall, everything else was good, but this is not the first time this has happened. If you are going to offer reservations for certain table types, then you need to be able to ensure that those specific types are held aside when someone reserves one.

The food was marvelous. The grapefruit used in one of the cocktails was a bit bitter, but they gave us another drink without hassle. It’s a bit loud inside but it’s due to the landing aircraft which is why we enjoyed it there.

Our waitress/bartender was great! Food was okay, I loved my fish and chips but my husbands sandwich was just okay he said. We ordered the pretzels and those were yummy! It was cool to see the planes coming in and taking off. It was nice to say we’ve experienced this brewery location but next time we probably won’t go on a weekend.

Nice place, fun to watch planes and helicopters come and go. Not too loud for a conversation. Fresh beer and good food.

from My grand daughters cheeseburger was so overdone it looked like a hockey puck. The waitress (who was good) offered to replace it with 2 sliders. They then charged us for the sliders and only took off only 11.90 of the 14.00 cheeseburger. My husbands fish and chips were also overdone. Bad first (and last) impression!

Our bartender / waitress was very friendly and super fun. Food was tasty. Don't bother using Open Table to get reservations. You won't get any points.

We were picking up our friends from Gateway Airport and decided to stop at Barrio for dinner - I only made a reservation because I knew the Diamondbacks had a playoff game and it was Monday night football as well - I thought the place would be packed. We were shocked when we walked in and the majority of the restaurant was empty! Food was very good, per usual, but the service was S....L....O....W. We were literally one of maybe 4 occupied tables in the place and we waited a good 20 minutes for our appetizer to come out (only one app for the 4 of us to share). Entrees did come out a little faster, but it was definitely a lot slower than the service we usually get here. Maybe the waiter was cooking or washing dishes or something in addition to waiting tables? Anyhow...we'll be back because we love this place and the food is consistently good. It might just be lack of help like many other places, so not holding it against them. I just wouldn't recommend it to someone catching a flight unless you have plenty of time.
