We celebrated our anniversary at Baron’s and had fantastic service, delicious food from the bread platter to the Frites Champs with 3 dipping sauces we couldn’t decide which was our favorite! We split the chopped salad - it was surprisingly delicious and beautiful with edible flowers on top! We had the filet which was superb, the grilled asparagus and potato were the stars of the show! We also had the Cornish game hen which was on this delicious wine reduction sauce which was amazing! The atmosphere is a classy casual - overall just really enjoyed it and look forward to coming back!

The tomahawk had good flavor. The presentation was nicely done. It is a fattier cut of meat fyi.

We wanted to find a cozy restaurant to enjoy our 7 year anniversary and Baron's did not disappoint. Our waiter was extremely friendly and did an excellent job making us feel at home and welcome. Service exceeded expectations. The restaurant was also very cozy and very well decorated. The food was also very well done. The Tomahawk was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The place is a bit pricy but it was well worth it for such a major celebration. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The restaurant is very attractive and comfortable. Every dish was interesting and delicious. The sommelier was very knowledgeable about the menu and pairings to complement the dishes. Our table had dumplings and cornets for starters and filets, short ribs and halibut for entrees. All were excellent. Next time I need to save room for dessert!

The tomahawk steak was more fat than meat. It barely fed two people. All other food items were very good

Wonderful environment. Rachel, our server was excellent. The food is delicious. This was our second time and we will definitely return.

Our waiter was fantastic. Main reason for not giving all 5 stars is our short rib was not hot when served. Definitely on the pricey side, but atmosphere, service and most of our food was great!!

Barons on 1st is nothing short of extraordinary. The attention to detail in both the decor and service is impeccable, creating an inviting space that makes you feel like you're in for something special. I had the pleasure of trying the rack of lamb from Elysian Farms. I am usually not a fan of Lamb because it has a gamy flavor. The server convinced me that this was something special. The lamb was tender and full of flavor, cooked to absolute perfection. What truly elevated the dish were the smoked cabbage and mushrooms that accompanied it. The cocktails were also noticeable. You can tell that everything is made from scratch, with fresh ingredients and a lot of thought put into each drink. It’s rare to find a bar where they make the classics right The ambience is another highlight. The space is beautifully designed, with each area offering a unique vibe, whether you’re dining in the main area or enjoying a more intimate experience. They have a private dining room that looks perfect for special occasions. After this visit, I’m already planning to book it for Christmas this year—it’s that kind of place where you want to make memories. Overall, Barons on 1st is a gem that exceeds every expectation!

I’m always amused when the restaurant gives a dress code that it does not enforce. Tshirts and shorts were worn by several diners, so ignore everyone wearing a sport coat in the pictures on their website, and the “business casual” when you confirm the reservation. The service was as expected for a higher end establishment, the waitress seemed knowledgeable but it was so loud inside we had to ask her to repeat herself several times. We ordered filet and short ribs… steak was delicious, short ribs were not good. As we paid $55 (iirc) for them I wasn’t going to not eat them, but I would not recommend and will certainly never order them here again. The bone they are served with seems to be for decoration only. Their texture was like a low quality chuck roast. Underwhelming experience for sure, as the sauce they were smothered in was also unpleasant. To note, the tasting menu is for everyone at the table or no one. Perhaps this is common? Not in my experience in LA and Las Vegas, but I’m sure every chef has their quirks. That said, we will return. The cornets, avocado gazpacho, and their bread plate were all divinely scrumptious. The pastry chef is someone who owns a patisserie in Jenks… seems somewhat disingenuous to list one on the menu, but I digress. If you order dessert, just know it was not made in-house. Cocktails were also excellent.
