WELCOME TO BARKLEY'S BARBECUE.

OUR FOOD
The process starts in our commercial firebox smoker flown in from America. Our hero ingredients are dry-rubbed or marinated, and then cooked “low n’ slow” for up to 18 hours over a blend of wood chips to maximise flavour and emphasise depth.

OUR ORIGINS
Barkley’s barbecue is a nod to an old pal of ours who grew up in Missouri, USA. His signature rubs and recipes were passed onto us, and now we’re sharing our love of smoked American barbecue to Narellan.

Amazing BBQ and quick service. We had the pork and brisket and both were so tender, the fries were also delicious.

Love this place. Very casual. Food is always nice and very consistent in quality. Some great mid week specials. Food and drinks are bit on the pricey side so can't go often, but excellent for a treat or special occasion

The Barbequee was average. We understood it was pre-cooked as we didn't want to wait 18 hours, and the temperature was lukewarm. The sides were pretty average, including the coleslaw. The service was also average at best. Team members were confused when asking how our meal was and if we wanted other things halfway through the mains. The kicker to the experience was when I got the bill and was charged $16 for a jug of water with some bubbles and lemon. (Soda water billed a Pepsi). Even if it was Pepsi, $16.00 for a jug. I preferred the venue when it was the tavern. As this is a BBQ joint with an average BBQ, it's a no for a repeat visit from me.

Myself, hubby and kids came here for the first time last night and immediately the smell of the smoked meat was amazing we were very excited!! We ordered a mixture of the meet platters, Mac and cheese, and nachos and everything was absolutely divine!! My son is fussy and we didn’t tell him he was eating smoked pork until the end and he was in shock haha. Everything was delicious Service was fantastic Atmosphere awesome Can’t wait to come back!

Will definitely be returning. Apart from the live music being a little loud, it's a good place for a family meal

We were put in a more private section ( 7 of us for a birthday lunch) and the noise level was fine. I've been here a few times now and have had consistently great food and consistently great service. The $$ for the 7 of us was considerably less than I expected it to be and everyone ate more than their fill.

The staff and service were excellent. I liked the decor, and the seating was comfortable. The corn wasn't juicy enough and a bit over seasoned. I really loved the potato salad. Rusty Burger was a bit average. Burnt ends were nice but very small portion for the price. Most of the meat on our platter was nice, some parts of the brisket were slightly dry, but overall pretty good. The chips for me were too hard and spiced, I like plain salt. The pickles and onions were great. If we go back we would probably just get potato salad and brisket instead of the whole platter.

Great food and cheap cocktails! Service was fabulous and QR code enables us school mums to just order what we wanted, when we wanted without the nightmare of splitting bills.

It feels like you are dining at a sports bar in the front half of the restaurant. We ordered food via the QR code on the table, so there was little service that we could comment on; however, the staff were super friendly. I tried the Popcorn Prawns and the Barkley platter and was grateful I had other people with me; there was so much food. It was super tasty, and the brisket was great and not too salty as it can be elsewhere. The drinks were nice, I ordered a Moscow Mule and noticed hardly any ginger beer/ale; it was more like a Vodka lime soda. Overall, I enjoyed a relaxed dinner with family and would like the option to reserve a table that isn't at the front of the restaurant next time.

This was our 4th time visiting for dinner. We loved everything, thats why we keep coming back. And Our waitress was amazing.
