Welcome to Baringa Tavern, located on the corner of Aura Boulevard and Edwards Terrace, Baringa within the new City of Colour “Aura” on the Sunshine Coast. We are locally owned and operated by Sunshine Coast Hotels Pty Ltd.

The Tavern's décor has a slight tribal influence with original artwork, artefacts and a striking main bar which forms the centerpiece of the bistro dining area. There is ample seating on the deck overlooking the parkland area, an open kitchen with a fabulous woodfired pizza oven and a large children’s room.

The amazing sports bar has a massive 15m video wall and outdoor deck. There are 40 taps across both bars, a gaming lounge with 25 of the latest machines and a drive thru bottle shop on site.

A little disappointing actually. We sat outside which is a really nice setting but the service let us down. We got served a drink when we first arrived and that was the last time we were asked. Then after the main meal we never saw a waiter again. Never mind about dessert or anything else. We have recently moved to the area and unfortunately wont be back. Prices are the same as a really nice restaurant so we may as well go where service is better and customers are appreciated.

Everyone that served us with drinks, food & coffee were fantastic. Great staff & food was also awesome.

Staff are really friendly and it was great to have table service instead of using a QR code or having to get up to order. Meals came out really quickly despite being a busy Friday night. Steak was cooked to perfection and meals are perfectly sized. Would definitely come here again.

Great tavern, have eaten there before but on this occasion the lamb curry special was poor. 1/4 of a popadum !!! And lamb tasted as if it was heavily salted before cooking, possibly due to old meat? I say that as unfortunately I have experienced this before. Staff member Mia is spot on with customer service and care👌

They didn't want to let us in because we were foreigners. We had to show them our license, ID and they even wanted to see our passport. It was all translated into English because they are international documents. It was something simple. Then they came to the table 7 times! There was no privacy. Horrible.

We arrived at 7pm as per booking, drink order taken within 5mins. Drinks took around 10mins to come to table for 1 beer, 1 softdrink and water for the table. We then waited over 30mins for someone to come and take our order when we finally got the attention of a staff member by waving at them from our table in front of the kids room. Our food(3mains, 2 kids and a garlic bread) finally hit the table at 8.15pm with pretty burnt garlic bread, a dry chicken schnitzel, and dry chicken in the other 2 mains which we paid extra to add to our meals (yaki upon and gnocchi). Waitress apologised for the delay taking our order stating they were very very busy and under staffed. However, restaurant was not full at that point with many empty tables around and some staff appeared to just be wandering around aimlessly.

My family and I really enjoyed the quality of food the service was great not much waiting at all over all it was a lovely experience.
