    A nice experience. Food was good - not great, good. Portions seemed fine. But, for example, $19 for quinoa, some chick peas, black beans, handful of arugula and simple pesto/vinegrette??? This is a couple of dollars to make … $19? Calamari was not terribly crisp. Generally, things tasted ok. Not wow. But there seemed enough menu items to try that makes it worth maybe coming back. Service was terrific (well done Levi!). My salad was served without any dressing, pointed it out and was fixed right away with apology. All good!! Brought older parents in - Sunday PM - super loud and it killed the enjoyment for them a bit. Not a quiet place for a late lunch at all. Overall, seems worth a try but not a knock it out of the park place. Just - good.

    Everything was amazing ! There were 3 of us and we shared: bread and spread, roasted brussel sprouts, small duck confit pizza and mac and cheese. We were all satisfied and had a slice of pizza left over. The service was great, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. We also order coffee and cookies at the to-go counter after we had paid for our table. At that point I think the servers may have been a little overwhelmed because my latte sat half made at the machine for 5+ minutes as several servers were taking care of delivery pick ups and bar drinks and serving tables, before a third person finally came over to finish my drink.

    From start to finish… divine! When we arrived the table beside us was just leaving and RAVED about everything they ordered. Our server had great energy. My cocktail was well balanced and so satisfying. The shareables were mouthwatering. The pizza was everything I wanted it to be. The after dinner americanos and desserts were the perfect end to the perfect date night. Thank you Bardo!

    We took friends who had never been to Bardo and they loved it! We always get the hummus to start with pita - outstanding. Wines by the bottle very good value. Can’t go wrong with the pizzas - overall great resto👍

    Always delicious and fresh. Seasonal menu is great but never strays too far from what they do. Consistent. - neighbourhood gem. Great bakery!

    Need some decorum to absorb sound. Quiet different to hear the conversation at your own table at times

    While I was saddened at the closure of the James Street location… so many great memories… my experience at the Locke Street location was great. From the initial welcome to the service, wine, and food, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Glad Kyle will be at Locke Street as he made James Street extra special. As much as we missed him on Friday, Cora was delightful and made us feel like old friends. Bardo Bowl was tasty, and the trout was grilled to perfection. Life gets so much better upon the first bite of the Bee Sting pizza. Accompanied by a reasonably priced and delicious Côtes du Rhône, the entire dinner was of an incredibly high standard. Looking forward to returning!
