   I honestly loved this restaurant. What a gem in Wilmington! But the music was way too loud. I know it says food and drink - and there was a bar area - but it was way too loud - like club loud. So it’s not really appropriate for a romantic dinner. But the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Our waitress could not have been better. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was outstanding. All in all - great time great food great service.

   The hostess and the wait staff are always nice and accommodating. The overall experience was good this time, it was better on my first visit. I didn't like neither time to be rushed to order all the dishes at once. the food was overall good, not great. I also wish the servers were more knowledgeable of the dishes as some of the portions can be pretty small and if you're not careful you end up still hungry at the end of the meal. we ordered the affogato for dessert and it was a train wreck, almost no resemblance in look and taste to the original recipe. I am a coffee lover and a bit knowledgeable of coffees, so I speak with propriety here . first of all, the ice cream was not the correct one, they use a homemade ice cream that has a citrus flavor to it, which is not OK for the recipe, the portion was too small. second they use regular coffee and too much of it, the original recipe calls for a shot or two of espresso, not too much of it. They should call it Bardea Affogato so one knows that it is a spin from the original. This place is very pricey so I did not expect to have hiccups on anything as I did both times.  I will try them a third time in the future to see how it goes.

   Bardea = top notch professional staff, delicious, creative and balanced cocktails, warm welcoming decor, and beyond delicious food! Couldn't ask for more from a restaurant. Started at the bar with an incredible Black Manhattan and a perfectly balanced Calamansi Plane in a beautiful coupe glass. Moved to a table where we enjoyed a veritable feast! We thoroughly enjoyed the burrata pop tart, coconut passionfruit salmon, duck agnolotti, and the monster 50oz rib eye- superbly seasoned and cooked to perfect medium-rare. Welcoming. Comfortable. Delicious. We'll be back.

   Bardea is our favorite restaurant. Food is consistently exceptional. Servers always friendly and attentive. Excellent wine list too.

   Best food in Wilmington DE and the staff was exceptional from the valet attendants outside all the way to the front desk and bartender that served us. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating.

   The service, food and everything was incredible! Our only complaint is how close the 2 top tables were together. We were right on top of the other 2 couples on both sides of us. Even the staff had a tough time cleaning the tables & bringing items. We could hear every word they said and it just was not an intimate set up.

   I’ve eaten here several times and the food is always delicious and innovative. The servers are always professional and we never have to wait long to be served. The restaurant is small and they pack a lot of people in there, so it is loud. However, the environment is lively and has a NYC vibe to it. Fun place to celebrate an event.

   Overall a great meal with some dishes that were really good and satisfying, but with some flaws. Service staff was very nice. Would have liked a bit better timed coursing on our shared plates. They brought everything out at once so some of our food had cooled by the time we got to it.

    Food was very good including taste and unique presentation. Service was good (not great). One disappointment was Bardea was out of crab tacos at 6pm Saturday night. No fault of wait service but poor food planning. My date was very much looking forward for this dish. You missed on this one Bardea.
