My only issue w Barcocina is that it gets really loud with guests & especially music ( if the music could be toned down a we bit ) us older folks would appreciate it- gets really hard to hear

SO LOUD!!! Food is meh. Atmosphere and drinks are good. Tuesday ended up being dancing night… but was loud before this. The dancing was fun.

The food was bad - I got a taco flight and the brisket and pork tasted good but the chicken tinga and shrimp were very fishy and tasted off. I couldn’t eat them and told my waitress who shrugged. We got free margarita flights from an instagram promo, but the drinks in the flights had so little alcohol compared to what we ordered (and paid for) before the free flights. I tried to use a gift card I had but I was told my gift card could only be used at the Lakeview location. That didn’t make sense. I called the Lakeview location and they said they would honor the gift card if I emailed them, but it’s been 2 days and they haven’t even acknowledged my email. What a scam.

The food was very good but we made the mistake of going for lunch on the weekend and they only serve brunch until 4 PM, so there were far fewer taco options i.e. no chicken or fish (we weren't interested in breakfast food). The pork tacos with pineapple were good. The chorizo and elotes (esquites) dips weren't anything special alone, but mixed together were excellent. I was very excited that they have cava. It was good and well priced. The staff were very nice but the speed and coordination of the service was terrible. We had to ask for water twice and received a bottle but no glasses. Our entrees came out before our appetizers. Just generally slow and out of sorts. We would go back but definitely not during brunch.

The service was so bad - my waitress came to take my order 30 mins into sitting down and never came back again. The food was good though and the margs!

We waited 20 minutes to be seated while we watched other parties arrive after us and get seated before us, even though we had a reservation. We had no server. The manager helped us when he had time. We waited over an hour for food to arrive while we watched other tables, eat, finish, and leave. Kitchen staff tried to give us food that we didn’t order on two occasions. When I spoke to the manager about the poor situation, I was given excuses. Even though we were given a discount, it really wasn’t worth the frustration of waiting so long for everything. The only thing good about the place was the food. and that wasn’t fantastic.

Had to wait 15 min for a table despite the reservation. Place was packed due to offering free margarita flights thru social media. They seated us outside but the reservation was for inside. It was freezing and windy. They had no gas for the heaters. No waitress for 30 min. No chips and salsa for 45. Drinks were watery. Food about 90 min in. People were fighting to claim food from passing waiters. Appetizer came after main course. Waitress came a total of three times, it was hard to even get the check. 2 hours of misery.
