   Perhaps the regular chef was not there, but aside from scallops, everything else was mediocre, including a lobster risotto and a very expensive Dover sole that was not tasty and had a sauce that was not anything like the advertised meunieres.

   Lovely food, very attentive waiters. It was a quiet lunchtime but very enjoyable.

   The Christmas Menu cost 245 with tax and service fee. This is a price for a Michelin starred restaurant I believe. However, during the dinner, first of all, while the waiter was serving water, he poured the water out of the glass. Second of all, the waiter didn’t remember the course I ordered and my boyfriend ordered, he miss served a lot of times and we need to switch our plate. Lastly, the table wasn’t cleaned up when serving the dessert. Moreover, there is no introduction of the course, they just put it in the table and left… Also, they dropped the forks to my body while they are trying to put it on the table… very disappointed dinner🥵

   Delicious food, great service and very friendly staff. We had a lunch on Christmas day in London and we had a great time. We absolutely recommend to visit this restaurant.

   This is an old hotel restaurant that is really for servicing guests of the hotel. We were tourists and ate here, extremely mediocre. One of our party became sick but the food overall was poor even regardless of that. They didn't understand their wine list, which was limited, we ended up with a mediocre bottle.

   My boyfriend and I had a lovely time. There was a live jazz band, the service was kind, efficient and friendly and the food was superb. The wine list also demonstrated a couple of excellent Rieslings by the glass. Overall a lovely experience and can’t wait to go back.

    Perfection. The cafe royal hotel is a benchmark of the highest quality. Exceptional good. Excellent service. Most definitely return soon
