What a wonderful restaurant tucked into Somerset Hotel! The ambiance and food were terrific. Looking forward to returning on our next trip.

Overall it was a nice night out in Provo. Before the sun went down, it was a little hot. The buffet didn’t start until closer to 7 so if we’d known that we probably would’ve waited to arrive to avoid some of the heat. The food I tried was tasty. The salad and couscous were fresh. I had the grouper, my husband didn’t like the beef - I think it was prime rib. They also had ribs of some sort. I wish the items had been labeled so we could tell what we were eating. The dj was ok - but more geared to adult entertainment than family - case in point the volunteers he first requested were all adults (spoiler alert) for a dance off. The men were very reluctant to volunteer when they didn’t know but the women were even more so after the men were done. He practically had to drag women up and wanted 5 but settled for only four. The whole dance contest made me slightly uncomfortable for the participants as the dj really made them work for it. This was the only game that was part of the night. The fire eater came out right before the night ended and tabs were being paid (since drinks are not included). The fire eater offered lots of opportunities for pictures. I am glad we went but would not go again as I feel there are better places to eat in the area.

Service was bad, when we got there there was no host to greet us or welcome us. Finally found someone who works there and he didn’t say anything just walked us to an open table. This was Saturday night and we had reservations at 8pm. The restaurant was dead… only 3 tables open. Then we proceeded to order food, asked to bring everything at same time. Half of the food showed up, and had zero flavor. So we are vegetarian, and my review is primarily on the vegetarian options on the menu. Presentation was on point, but it lasted the basics even salt. After we were done with our food, the server then told us oh we forgot a few things did you still want it. We declined since at this point we were ready to go. We were also seated outside in 85 degrees weather, so I was too hot wanted to just leave. Then when the bill came, the server reminded us that service fee is not part of tip, so tip was mandatory on top of the service fee. Sorry, but for service like that I wouldn’t even tip, but my sweet husband still put 15%. Either way we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Fabulous food and music. The staff were also exceptional. Will certainly return the next time we are in TCI.

Overall, good experience. But, the chicken and chorizo paella was something like 95% rice, 4% veggies and only 1% meat. I am being serious here. A giant vat of paella, with ONE slice of chorizo and 6-8 very small pieces of chicken. Kind of painfully bad for $50 USD.

Margarita was a wonderful server and the food was terrific. Only exception was the key lime pie. It was horribly bitter and more of a cheesecake. Only downside to this place is it was totally dead. We were there 7-9 and there was only one other table the entire time.

We dined here for dinner and breakfast. Staff are arrogant and rude. Server rolled her eyes at me when I asked for fruit at breakfast a certain way. Server at dinner was arrogant and made several comments that I would have kept to myself. Food is okay. View overlooks a small lawn and unfortunately offers not even a glimpse of the ocean.
