Unfortunately, the chicken piccata was over cooked (burned all around the edges) and hard to chew. The risotto was very dry with no flavor.

SO, SO good! YET, we went specifically for the duck poutine that was on the online menu. It was not on the menu when we were there. In fact our waitperson hadn't seen it for awhile! So, we wish it had been there!

Great place to meet up with some friends. Comfy outdoor dining area with umbrellas. Great service, and an extensive beer list, along with wine and some cocktails. We had apps and some drinks. Generous portion sizes on the apps we got--the nachos could feed 3-4 people.

Great outdoor space. I don’t know our servers name, which is a shame because he was amazing! For some reason, my dish didn’t come out when everyone else’s did and when I alerted him to it, he couldn’t have been more apologetic. I’m sure just an oversight, really, no big deal. I had grilled shrimp over the spinach and apple salad, which was exactly what I wanted. The shrimp were perfectly done. It’s convenient, easy to park and always reliable and with that beautiful outdoor space I’m sure I will be frequenting it a lot this summer

Love this place. Love the outdoor patio that is dog friendly. Food is good - even my dog likes the doggie menu.

Loved the new vegan selections on the menu. We were a party of 4 so we were able to try a bunch of the vegan items. The risotto dish and the portobello parmesan were very tasty. The zoodle dish could have been a little herbier or spicier, it was a bit bland. And my friend said the mushroom bean burger was tasty but dry. Maybe including a spicy chipotle sauce (could be made with vegan mayo, hot sauce, garlic etc) would have helped? Hope these items stay on the menu. Of course the beer was terrific too!

This was a wonderful place for Sunday brunch/breakfast. We had a last minute guest and needed a place to go. We were able to get in and had wonderful service.

We were kind of rushed along even though there were plenty of tables open. It seemed the staff wanted to be done by 9pm and closed up on a Friday night. Very strange

I had really had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately, it fell short the environment was dreary, the food was just ok. Holding it up against some of the other pubs/bars in Newton it fell far short for me.
