    Absolutely the best meal I have had since arriving in Halifax. One of the servers greeted me at the door then came by just to see how I was doing! She wasn’t my server and I thought that was very nice of her. I had beef empanada to start. They were large so I had one and one to take home. My main course was the seasonal fish with coconut rice, plantains and a citrus arugula salad. Perfection. Amazing meal for a hot summer day. I can’t wait to plan another trip to Halifax and come by again.

    Felt quite rushed during our time at bar sofia and had to be moved to the bar at one point.

    Excellent ! Food was amazing and atmosphere was great. Took about 20 mins to get our bill otherwise great experience will return :)

    The back outside patio is fantastic, Great ambiance and vibe Very close to the harbour and right on the boardwalk. Their drinks are unique and quite tasty . The margaritas are great as well as the martinis, Unique appetizers, Friendly servers .

    AH-maxing. Had the BEST time. Such a fun place, and I was so thrilled in particular with the diversity of both staff and guests. Feels like a place where anyone can truly be themself. Our server Alex/Alejandro was absolutely lovely, so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Food was great. Drinks delish. Whole vibe incredible. The colourful, bright, but somehow also elegant ambiance was such a mood lift. Quite possibly my new fave place. 10/10, no notes!

    Nice food, I recommend the Swordfish Ceviche. Cute space, tables are pressed too close together. Service was repulsive and disappointing for such a highly suggested venue.

    This is not a great lunch spot. The food, while interesting, is not well suited to a downtown lunch crowd. It is not ‘value for money’. BUT, on a sunny afternoon and any evening it is a spectacular addition to the Halifax waterfront and I wholeheartedly recommend it for people watching (and more), music and cocktail, bar snacks and an outstanding team of professionals.
