Welcome to Bar San Juan.

We are a Tapas Bar and Restaurant located in the beautiful South Manchester suburb of Chorlton.

Pick a spot, order a drink and enjoy the vibes whilst you wait to be seated.

Bar San Juan is not just a restaurant with proper Spanish food, it s a place to relax and enjoy with the Spanish way of life: eat some tapas, drink cerveza and have some fun!

San Juan is a tiled tapas bar with traditional decor, serving authentic dishes and imported beer and wine. We aim to provide a little piece of Spain in Manchester.

Took my 79 year old mum for lunch. It was a beautiful sunny day and we both felt we had been on holiday to Spain for a couple of hours! The jug of chilled sangria was delicious and the place was buzzing with a mixture of Spanish music and the chatter of lots of people having a great time. The waiting staff chattered in Spanish and flung plates of food down on the tables in a very authentic way! It was a smaller restaurant than I had expected (given its popularity), and half the tables spilled out onto the street, but the design of the space is beautifully curated. The food was just what you expect from a tapas bar, no complaints, but nothing particularly memorable. Definitely go here for the experience/atmosphere. One note is that my mum did find the music too loud,( she has some hearing problems), but for me it was perfect!

The best TAPAS!! Our favourite place, the service, the atmosphere and the food are all 10/10. We come here atleast once a month, highly recommend Bar San Juan! Prior to moving closer we would travel 2 hours just to come here.
