Lovely to find this place on Christmas Eve, with really friendly and attentive staff and excellent food and drinks! Definitely coming back!

Loved music and cocktails. Oysters were really good! Noise level was very high and distracting though.

I hate leaving ‘negative’ reviews but this place is not what we expected. The food is subpar and all over the place… I mean it’s called Bar Roma but it’s definitely not Italian. The Polpette were actually delicious but they ran out. Our server literally showed up to the table with the payment machine without bringing our bill. It just wasn’t a great experience and we won’t be returning. There are way too many other amazing places in the neighborhood, don’t waste time going here. Just my opinion.

While our name, Bar Roma, might suggest Italian influences, we’re a Cocktail Bar serving small plates that blend a variety of flavors in a fusion style, designed to pair perfectly with our handcrafted cocktails as our logo reflects. This restaurant is an absolute gem! The grilled octopus was perfection—charred just right and bursting with flavor. The zucchini chips were insanely good: the ideal almost-carb side that was so good we ordered them twice. The tiger shrimp and fried misto were equally outstanding. The cocktails, from dirty martinis to their unique twist on an espresso martini with a hint of citrus, were creative and delicious. The vibe is impeccable, with every detail thoughtfully curated, making it perfect for celebrations, anniversaries, or even first dates. Having experienced their expert brunch (those pancakes and benny are unforgettable - srsly give it a try), I’m thrilled to know the dinner menu is just as stellar. This spot is consistently a 10/10—I’ll be back again and again! p.s. my photo is from the brunch I had here - I just wanted the restaurant (and you, reader) to see my review because I'm obsessed with this place!

Went to Bar Roma last night with a friend of mine. We had the best time! Drinks were incredible. We had the Lavender 75 as well as the Kashmiri Spiced Margarita. I was not a huge fan of the Pomegranate Chicken Skewers as the chicken was a bit fatty. However, all the other dishes we got were incredible! Black Tiger Shrimp was divine. My friend and I are not huge fans of zucchini however when we tried the Cajun Zucchini Chips, we were in heaven, I could eat those all day. The real star of the show was the Lamb Piri Tacos. By far the best dish we ordered. It is their crowd favourite. We loved it so much we asked for two orders. Our waiter Zoya was so sweet and such a lovely woman. Shoutout to Bar Roma for their fabulous food, service and vibe. I can for sure see them sticking around. A must go on Ossington, highly recommend checking it out ASAP!

It was so worth visiting this place . Amazing food , you can taste every flavour in every single bite . And yes the cocktails were so so so good .. I would be back for outstanding service , food and drinks .

It was amazing! There is no bar like this one on Ossington that can beat the vibes. Our group had such great cocktails, the bartender was fun and their small plates were delicious. Their service was quick and they also accommodated our friend with dietary restrictions. Can’t wait to come back for more!

The space is beautiful but we sat at the bar and did not recieve good service. I could tell they were understaffed which I have compassion for, however the bartenders were lacking the level of Service and personality I expect from a bar in this area. Service is everything !
