Bar Masa features a bar made from a solid plank of African bubinga wood and walls of Japanese Oya limestone. All the dishes were so good, especially crispy dumplings, soft shell crab, tempura lobster roll, duck “taco”

Service was excellent and food was very good. The atmosphere was lacking and only 1 bathroom in the entire restaurant which is why I didn't give it 5 stars.

After ten years of the “bento-box” lunch special for one reason or another Chef Masa and team decided to do away with the “Bar-Masa” bento box special menu and pricing. People usually adding something else to the menu while there but hey who am I but a loyal goer for over the past ten years. They should reconsider this decision as a $200- lunch is not very attentive for most of us.

The dishes are small. We had Peking Duck Foie Gras Tacos, tempura shrimp, yellow tail scallion, hotate sea bream, Grilled Maitake Mushroom with Truffle, jalapeno octopus, fried chicken dumplings. all were great, Peking duck and Octopus were our favorites. We had dessert: Sobe ice cream Affogato and double espresso. all the dessert items were OK. The food we had was worth the prices, it was excellent , except dessert. Everything was delicious and the sushi was much better than normal.
