                    We decided not to do a tasting menu and just go with some recommendations from the server and things that caught our eye. Every dish was better than the last, one of the most memorable meals, my companion and I have had in a long time! The lobster rolls are just exquisite and the blue tuna cone special was unforgettable. Everyone was very friendly even though it was a very late dinner that started just before 10. No one rushed us. The sound and ambience was perfect. We were both still talking about the dishes in the cocktails today.

                    Lovely dinner in a gorgeous setting. The classic ceviche was outstanding. We also loved the Brussel sprout petals, the ventresca and garbanzo salad, and the pulpo a la Gallega (Spanish octopus, potatoes, alioli and pimenton. Everything was fresh, flavorful and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend!

                    William the mgr was very inviting, Vernon the wine mgr was pleasant and knowledgeable and Roger was very experienced and navigated dishes well. Tried some great Spanish wines. Dishes were tasty as always. All in all it t was an excellent experience for me and my guests.

                    Bar Mar gives us a great experience. The food were great, not overly seasoned and hit a good balance. The octopus is cooked till perfect. The sticky toffee pudding is great, but I do think it’s a bit dry and a bit too sweet. But the waitress was very patient and professional, and take the dessert off our check because of the wait (which we didn’t mind).

                    Went for an early (5:30) reservation on a Monday night and chose the “snack” tasting menu, which meant the restaurant was not as crowded as it would have been on the weekend and felt quite relaxed. The snack menu provides an ample number of courses and quantity of food. Each course is creative and delicious. The service was impeccable and we had a good conversation with the sommelier. This was our second visit and we will certainly go there again for a special occasion
