I’ve never experienced the highest level of personal attention and service as I did at Bar Mer. Exceptional! The food explodes tasty in your mouth. The ambience is vibrant high energy. Outstanding.

Came in for the Reataurant Week lunch special and was not disappointed. Quickly seated and attended to immediately. First course was sent out quickly (under 6 minutes) and was delicious. The second course of lobster roll with fries was equally delicious with a generous serving of fries with aioli. Delicious food with a beautiful setting.

Went for lunch during restaurant week. Sat at bar and Hannah R mixed great drinks and gave great summary of menu. Neptune pillows were crackly bites of sashimi outside /poke’ mixture inside with a slight kick was delicious. Bikini truffle sandwich may be the best grilled cheese sandwich I ever had. Will come again and try dinner

We had a great experience and meal at Bar Mar. Very friendly and attentive staff which made the evening that much better. The shrimp cocktail and lobster roll were delicious. Good cocktail selection as well. This is a large and busy restaurant but we had a relaxing experience.

We were visiting bar mar for the restaurant week, was excited to try food at this place. It end up being a bite-size food, good in taste, but not enough. Service was very slow, our server checked on us only when we were trying to find him. We were waiting for the dessert more than 20 minutes, and at this point we were ready to go. Not happy about experience

Amazing service and the food was delicious. Started with some oysters and then the restaurant week menu. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the wine recommendation. Cheers!

It is a beautiful restaurant in the B of A building. The Restaurant Week menu was delicious and included three creative courses at a reasonable price. Service was very friendly and attentive on a quiet Sunday afternoon. I had dined here for lunch during the week, when the scene was lively and crowded with business professionals. Food on the longer menu was equally creative and delicious.

The dining room is beautiful. We went for Chicago restaurant week. The presentation of the shrimp cocktail was beautiful and the shrimp were large. The lobster roll was disappointing. The dessert was 2 small cookies in a plastic bag. Something you’d find in a kids boxed lunch. Really?? Disappointing.

I took my two teens here for dinner before seeing a play. We ordered many appetizers and then had the restaurant week dinner. Everything was delicious and creative. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. We loved the cured pork that was presented to us tableside, the crab cake which was full of large pieces of crab and had great flavor, the tuna pillows, the octopus and the steak frites. Highly recommend!
