Tasting menu was amazing and so much food! Our server was attentive and genuinely seemed excited about the food. Ambiance and decor for dinner was perfect and the manager popped by to check how it was which was nice. Food runners were a bit too fast with explaining the dish which is minor but we will definitely be back!

Coordinated a company happy hour here and the staff could not have been more helpful! Really recommend Bar Mar for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres!

It was our 44th anniversary and we decided to celebrate somewhere new. I notified them that we were celebrating and would like a table near a window. It’s on the ground floor so there was good people watching. To our surprise, a hostess came to our table with 2 glasses of Prosecco and wished us a happy anniversary. What a nice start to our evening. We opted to go ala carte as opposed to a choice of 3 prix fixe menus. Lobster croquettes and tuna with crispy rice and wasabi and mayo were delicious. My entree was shrimp with fidaeo pasta . Great flavor and richness. My husband had steak which was also excellent. The highlight of our evening was when our waitress, Shab, asked what we wanted for dessert, we couldn’t agree on one we both liked, so she asked what each of us liked. I said sticky toffee pudding , my other half said key lime pie. She brought us both on on the house. The pudding had a candle in it. What a nice surprise. Thanks so much for making our evening so special. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful, delicious food and an equally beautiful atmosphere. Our server was great and knowledgable. We loved everything about it and had a wonderful evening.

Great location. I was expecting great things for this new Andes venture, but the service was spotty, high seating uncomfortable and the tasting taps menu too carb heavy and likely thousands of calories. This outpost Needs more work on the concept and execution. Try Bazaar Meats next door or other group standouts like Zaitinya or Jaleo. The similar name to Barmini is unfortunate since that 2 Michelin restaurant in DC is one of the best.

It was very disappointing. The room was packed, which was great but it was so loud. You could barely hear yourself think. We were also disappointed in the food as it was just pedestrian. Additionally, we wanted to order a bottle of wine but being in the wine business and seeing these prices, you're obviously taking advantage of the general public, which again is disappointing

From start to finish our experience was fantastic. My son and I ate so many delicious dishes. The hamachi cones were out of this world. The oysters and patatas were so tasty. Our server Madeline was beyond attentive and gave us suggestions on how to order. She also suggested a delicious spicy tequila drink, I wish I remembered the name. If I’m back in Chicago I would definitely go back.
