As always this place is on point, the ambiance, the food, the staff, everything is amazing ! Patrick the bartender and our server made some great cocktails and great recommendations for food ! This is definitely worth the price !

Drinks (a lovely smooth sauvignon blanc and a Belgian raspberry beer), nibbles (charcuterie, cheese), and service were superb! But we were disappointed about the seating. I'd specifically chosen Lupulus for their (usually) lovely patio and because I wanted to enjoy sitting outside on what was probably one of the last balmy evenings of the year. But we were crammed onto two barstools between the water/cutlery station and a pole. So even though we're not large people it was difficult to get in/onto the stools and we were cramped. That in itself might have been ok, but on top of that we were facing directly onto a kind of construction site with nothing to look at but dumpsters, trash, gravel, and some tubs of cement. Because the spot was cramped, there was no option to turn to get a different view. Not quite the romantic terrace evening we were hoping for. If there wasn't proper space for us, I'd rather the reservation had simply been declined and we'd have gone somewhere else with a nicer view and come back here another time.

Such a good spot. The patio is one of the nicest I have gone to. Many beers on tap. Food is tasty. Had the bison carpaccio and it was amazing!

We enjoyed our evening at Bar Lupulus. Excellent food, wine and service! Always consistent. Always interesting! The only down side is the level of noise. That said, we’ve gotten used to it over the years.
