The Hotel Fauchere features three dining venues. Our elegantly-appointed Delmonico Room with its vintage Hudson River School paintings, piano and light-filled sunroom, our Bar Louis, with cozy booths, a contemporary vibe and the famous gigantic photograph of Andy Warhol and John Lennon behind the bar and our heated front porch with awnings and wind break curtains . Please note venue preference, if you have one, and we will accommodate as we are able (not all venues are open at all times). The restaurant pays homage to our founder, Louis Fauchere, who began working as a master chef at Delmonico's in New York City in 1848. He opened the Fauchere in 1852 and it was run by his descendants for 124 years. We look forward to welcoming you.

We dined with friends we haven’t connected with in 50 years. We had delicious food and service. We weren’t rushed. The waiter/bartender let us chat away and was very patient in taking our order.it was a great dining experience with our friends.

Nice staff, limited menu and pricey. My sister and got the chicken and it was too salty. My husbands steak and brother in laws hamburger was delicious.

The food was great. Had the Vegan au Poive, which was amazing! Noise was extreme, service slow as staff stretched.

This restaurant never fails to impress. We have been here four times over the past few years (only on the porch in the summer). The food is delicious, it has a lovely traditionally elegant but not stuffy ambiance. Shout out to charming server Faith, who provides the perfect amount of attentiveness.

Sadly, there was nothing memorable about this meal. The burger was bland and basic. The sushi pizza was oily and also bland. The wine was good. The space quite nice. And we did enjoy the French onion soup which was just the right amount of cheesy. But overall, it just didn’t feel like the night out we had hoped for.

Best French Onion Soup I've ever had special scallops worth the price. Cooked to perfection! Service was outstanding.

Food and drinks are excellent. Nice atmosphere-like being in manhattan. Only complaint is they didn’t acknowledge our anniversary which I mentioned in the reservation. Last year we were served complimentary champagne for the occasion. Oh well. Would still go back.

The roasted Brussels sprouts were steamed or boiled and dressed with raw garlic. The chicken was good, but the presentation with 1 potato was bland and unimaginative. I can only assume there is no chef in the kitchen. Sad to see a lovely venue serving up disappointment for dinner.

I would also like to apologize for any miscommunication on our behalf as our Brussel Sprouts are sautéed; which as you know is much different than the Roasted Brussel Sprouts you were expecting & neither should be dressed with Raw Garlic in which you received.
