Bar Lino ristorante brings familial recipes from Itri, Italy to Johnston, RI. Restauranteurs, Joe and Esther DeQuattro, originally opened Pane e Vino Providence, Massimo Providence, Massimo Legacy Place, and Crow's Nest in Warwick.
Bar Lino is the perfect local restaurant serving Italian classics while featuring live entertainment, Espresso Martini Monday's, Happy Hour at the Bar from 4PM-6PM Monday-Friday and other great specials.
Signature dishes include Pappardelle alla Bolognese, the Point Judith Calamari en Padella, and the Bucatini al' Amatriciana.
Bar Lino has unique Italian wines from small boutique Italian winemakers.

I love Bar Lino’s, it is such a hidden gem tucked away in Johnston. No need to travel to federal hill for Italian delights when you have one of the best restaurants in your neighborhood. I am aware in Johnston we do have a lot options for Italian food but none of them compare to Bar Lino’s if I had to be honest. For starters their pizza is unmatched. It truly doesn’t matter what kind you get, they are all amazing. Typically we get the Rosa and it hits every-time. I love how they update their menu per season, I feel it gives customers an opportunity to try new things they typically would not. I can never leave without having a Caesar salad from Bar Lino’s it’s literally the best Caesar salad hands down you’re going to get anywhere. Between the amazing pasta dishes to the hearty entrees such as short rib and salmon with risotto, truly their possibilities are endless for you and your family and friends. PS: try the cheese tortellini! Run don’t walk

Made a reservation 10 days ahead and we were put at a table next to the back door and a service station where the staff was unpacking boxes during our meal. Chicken was tough and not edible. Pizza was tasty but in general the food was overpriced for the quality, especially for RI Generally the restaurant was very loud

Bar Lino is excellent all around - great bar - great service - great food. One exception blasting music is totally annoying - it is not a night club it is a restaurant. Cannot enjoy a meal and conversation with music blaring.

Great food and staff!! The pizza is excellent here and the entertainment on Thursday evenings is awesome! Johnny Paris does a great job!

Overall pretty decent basic Italian food. One pet peeve of mine is when veal and chicken cutlets for parm dishes are not cooked to order. These seemed to be pre-cooked. Pizza was decent. If you are looking for basic Italian not bad but not great.

First time to Bar'Lino and will be back for sure. Food was outstanding and our waiter was excellent and knowledgeable. Thanks for a great lunch!

Great first visit, absolutely amazed that they are running food as soon as the kitchen finishes the dishes, all of our food was hot! Sandwiches were awesome. Can’t wait to go back.

The food was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend. We ordered the antipasto plater and it had a lot of meats, cheeses, olives & crostini. We both loved the chicken piccata and it was one of the best I ever had. It came with potatoes and green beans which were also great!

This place never disappoints! I recently had the chicken parmigiana over spaghetti, and it was the ultimate comfort food, especially on a chilly fall evening. The dish was flavorful and satisfying, with perfectly cooked chicken and a rich marinara sauce. To top it off, I ended the meal with an espresso martini and their cannoli trio—both were absolutely delicious. The combination of great food, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service from Francesca makes this spot a must-visit.
