Welcome to Bar'Lino, the newest addition to the DeQuattro Restaurant group. Nestled in the heart of Johnston, Rhode Island, our newly opened Italian restaurant invites you on a culinary journey that celebrates the artistry of Southern Italian cuisine. Signature dishes include Spaghettoni alla Carbonara with guanciale and a farm fresh egg, the Point Judith Calamari en Padella, and the Bucatini al' Amatriciana. Bar Lino has unique Italian wines from small boutique Italian winemakers. Our approach to wine is accessibility, quality and variety to encourage unfettered enjoyment. Our bar features beers on tap, cocktails, and a large selection of classic Italian amari, grappa and many other Italian liqueurs.

What a wonderful evening. The hostesses were exceptionally accommodating and our waitress, Jennifer was attentive without being intrusive. She made several recommendations which were spot on. We are bringing friends back on the 22nd. Thank Bar’ Lino.

Food was mediocre, especially considering prices. Atmosphere was dingy. I feel the hostess selected certain people for “back” seating. I doubt I will visit again.

We had mushrooom and onion pizza. Scant mushrooms and onions and way too much mozzarella. I ordered pappardelle bolognese. I asked for gluten free pasta. It came with rigatoni pasta. Waiter did not tell me this dish gluten free does not come with pappardelle. I had asked for a gluten free menu when we arrived- never got it. There was definitely a language barrier with all the wait staff we had. English was not their primary language. They were difficult to understand and they clearly did not understand us. I love many of the Dequattro restaurants, Pane vino, Crows Nest. Our experience at his one is questionable.

Hugo our server was highly professional. He made certain that we were happy with everything. Excellent service. Food was fantastic. The meal was served hot and everything was delicious! This was our 1st visit to Bar Lino have been to all other Quatttro group restaurants. All are great!

The food is always excellent! Have been several times and have not had a bad choice. The braised short ribs were the best I’ve ever had. Our service person Jenn is excellent! She is friendly, helpful, personable and does not rush and is helpful with understanding the menu. I’ve had her several times and will try and request her the next time. Only issue the Thursday night we were there was the music. As much as I love music when I’m dining I want to be able to hear the people I’m with. And it was difficult. If the music/singer (who was very good) could have started at 8pm then those early diners could enjoy conversation. Other than that I tell everyone to dine there and I will be returning myself.

There is a wide variety of different dishes. I am gluten free and they are sooo accommodating with the menu. Items I cannot get elsewhere. Canoli available for dessert gluten free. So much food took mine home to eat. Friendly staff.

Food was delicious! I had a glass of Pinot Grigio which was excellent! My daughter order a pizza with Mortadella, arugula and pistachios plus cheese of course and I ordered veal parmigiana. Both dinners were amazing!
