Enjoy an intimate dining experience at Bar Isabel - a cozy restaurant nestled between Toronto's little Italy and little Portugal, where creative Spanish-inspired small plate dishes are served alongside cocktails and an extensive Iberian focused wine list. The restaurant's elegant interior boasts an intriguing blend of soft lighting, curved walls and a beautiful mosaic tile floor.
Managed under the guidance of Maitre d' and Partner Alessandro Pietropaolo, Bar Isabel's menu includes a diverse mix of pintxos, conservas, seafood and meat dishes. Diners rave about the grilled octopus, the bone marrow and the ceviche. For dessert, the Basque cake and sherry cream is a must-try. Bar Isabel is open 5-11pm Sunday through Friday, and 3-11pm Saturday. Accolades include listings in the Michelin Guide, Canada's top 100, and 2013 awarded the best new restaurant in Canada by Enroute Magazine. Bar Isabel accepts reservations for parties of up to 8 guests.

Dix ans après sa création, le Bar Isabel reste une table recherchée grâce à son ambiance de taverne intime et à ses tapas de qualité. Des en-cas faciles à partager, un excellent choix de boissons mettant l'accent sur les vins espagnols et le xérès, et une ambiance survoltée encouragent les clients à s'attarder et à demander à écouter des tubes espagnols les uns après les autres.

My friend and I did the tasting menu and it was the perfect amount of food. Everything tasted amazing but the pork secreto was the highlight. Service was incredible

We sat outside and had the loveliest time (as always). Greatest hits are the sobrasada and foie, and the basque cake for dessert. House vermut is always to die for as well! Love the food, team, and service - already looking forward to our next visit!

The tasting menu was great for first timers. The basque cake is the best dessert I've ever had. We will definitely be back!

Went on a Saturday for the prix fixe lunch. The food was delicious, as always, and we appreciated a more budget friendly way to enjoy the menu.

We elected for the patio accepting the noise of the street and sometime busy sidewalk traffic, Our meal and the service of both wait and wine staff were outstanding.
