Enjoy an intimate dining experience at Bar Isabel - a cozy restaurant nestled between Toronto's little Italy and little Portugal, where creative Spanish-inspired small plate dishes are served alongside cocktails and an extensive Iberian focused wine list. The restaurant's elegant interior boasts an intriguing blend of soft lighting, curved walls and a beautiful mosaic tile floor.
Managed under the guidance of Maitre d' and Partner Alessandro Pietropaolo, Bar Isabel's menu includes a diverse mix of pintxos, conservas, seafood and meat dishes. Diners rave about the grilled octopus, the bone marrow and the ceviche. For dessert, the Basque cake and sherry cream is a must-try. Bar Isabel is open 5-11pm Sunday through Friday, and 3-11pm Saturday. Accolades include listings in the Michelin Guide, Canada's top 100, and 2013 awarded the best new restaurant in Canada by Enroute Magazine. Bar Isabel accepts reservations for parties of up to 8 guests.

Dix ans après sa création, le Bar Isabel reste une table recherchée grâce à son ambiance de taverne intime et à ses tapas de qualité. Celebrated my birthday here and it was amazing!! Definitely a great vibe to spend a night out to eat some amazing food. Only con would be the noise level- pretty loud for a dining space and difficult to chat with someone. Definitely a must try eats in Toronto.

First time visit and will be planning a return very soon. Great atmosphere, incredible food and even better service with massive attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Food was OK but small overpriced portions. The mussels were not good. Meat and cheese plate was average and, again, overpriced.

So gooooood! T'was my second time here and it was just as good as the first. Came for my birthday dinner and had a wonderful time, our server was excellent (I forget his name). He timed the courses perfectly and gave great suggestions which we probably wouldn't have ordered without his help - my mother even liked everything and she can be somewhat fussy with food, especially when it's unfamiliar. The host was also able to move our table to a different area of the restaurant when we got there which was super sweet. All around a lovely experience and will be back again ofc!

The food is always incredible, I feel that they never miss. The service is also always so kind and sweet, and they seem to enjoy being there as well! Always a good time at Bar Isabel. Love the atmosphere, the design, the wood, the benches, the lighting. They also sent us some sherry to go with our dessert. So sweet.

My friend and I did the tasting menu and it was the perfect amount of food. Everything tasted amazing but the pork secreto was the highlight. Service was incredible

We sat outside and had the loveliest time (as always). Greatest hits are the sobrasada and foie, and the basque cake for dessert. House vermut is always to die for as well! Love the food, team, and service - already looking forward to our next visit!
