We would definitely recommend the tasting menu at Bar Goa. They are creative takes on Indian cuisine.

What a great meal we had. We tried the tasting menu a good choice. Every component was perfect. The service was outstanding. One small note we added the wine tasting as well. We assumed we would get a different wine with each course. We were served 4 wines for the seven courses. The beer served with one of the course was a shot glass. We will definitely return for the food and service.

The Non-Veg omakase is great value for money! We were already too full before the last entree course and there was still dessert. The first three courses really aimed to impress! From plating to flavours, wow. However for me, after the chicken masala taco the rest of the spice forward dishes fell flat (prawn balchao toast, keema pau and the rice/naan with butter chicken and daal makhani) or didn’t live up to the show of the first three (just came out like any other Indian restaurant would serve them). I was also disappointed with the beverage pairings only because I assumed they would have used their playful cocktail list as a pairing but be warned, it’s just Prosecco/wines/beer. Dessert could have been a chance to finish with a bang but instead it was 3 small servings of a meh cheesecake with a parle biscuit on top, a meh Black Forest cake and a Bebinca not much like a Bebinca. It could have been one wow dessert dish instead and I would have been more satisfied - with all the milk, jaggery, coconut and nut choices that could have been highlighted. Missed opportunity for my tastes. I will be coming back to try the lamb dishes which weren’t on the omakase unfortunately.

Food and service were excellent. Will definitely go back. Next time we will ask for tap water, not still, as the still came in a bottle. The butter chicken was amazing. We did the tasting menus, 1 non-veg and 1 veg, and both were great. The first 5 servings were small but exquisite, the 6th serving was the curry of the day with rice and naan which we couldn’t finish! They gave us the rest to take home. Thankfully the desserts were small and delicious. Mango daiquiri and guava coconut daiquiri were awesome!

Very nice food. We took the set menu. Loved the berry chaat. Unique eating experience. However we were not very appreciative of the dessert. There were no Indian desserts and most were cake or pudding combines. Overall experience was great and we will visit again

Yesterday was my 5th visit to Bar Goa. I keep introducing my friends to this fantastic restaurant. The food is divine. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I had the 7 course tasting menu. Each dish was presented beautifully and every bite was divine. Can't wait to go back!
