We took several guests who have extensive expertise in international foods, including Indian/Goan. They all said this was the best Indian/Goan food they had eaten anywhere including in some of the most highly rated, iconic restaurants. The service is exceptional, but beware, the noise level is high.

This was my third time at Bar Goa. Iwish I could give this restaurant 6 stars out of 5!!! The food is spectacular and the presentation is one-of-a-kind. The service is outstanding.

We tried the summerlicious menu and were delighted with the variety and freshness of the food and the ideas behind it. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Special requests were willingly accommodated. Can't wait to go back and try items from the regular menu.

A modern spin on Indian Cusine. However the essence of Goa was lost on the menu. I was really hoping to see some more Goan influenced dishes. The service was spectacular. They went out of the way and made an exception for us with the dessert. They had these little standees for us to place our handbags 😍 👜 overall positive experience We ordered alot of things but the one dish that stood out was their Lal Gosht. It was cooked well, the meat was soft and the gravy delicious. The rest of the apps and mains were alright.

Excellent quality well-presented Indian food in two clean and snazzy rooms, choose dark/intimate or bright/kitchen view. Priced accordingly. It's not going to change, or blow, anyone's mind, but a very welcome option. Nothing even comes close in the quadrant east of yonge, south of bloor, and west of the Don. Charming and efficient waiter H was welcoming and helpful. Enter from inside office building lobby.

I came with a friend for the tasting menu, and we chose the non-vegetarian option. The restaurant is attractively decorated, with many touches of modern glamor. It also became exceedingly loud, like shout-across-the-table loud, and this affected our experience. The food was attractive too, especially the delicious show-stopper that starts the meal, the variation on shrimp on toast, and the beautiful naan. A weak point for us was that despite these dishes being standouts, as was the plush chicken on skewers, the food was overwhelmingly on the rich side. The chefs are unstinting on the cream and butter, and the desserts are quite sweet and filling too. We would have enjoyed the meal more if there had been more variety to the tasting menu dishes -- e.g., more pickled elements than the lone slice of (tasty!) pickled radish, some fresh veg for crunch or small sides (not sure if raita or chutney could be part of their vision), and less reliance on a tomato and cream sauce base. The staff were lovely, yet exceedingly busy with the packed room, and our meal stretched well beyond 3 hours with many long gaps. I would recommend Bar Goa to you if you love rich creamy food and find a super-loud setting exciting.
