Chose Bar Douro for lunch with friends…. I have been fortunate to visit Porto many times and love the food, wine and laid back vibe! Bar Douro did not disappoint - service was excellent, food and wine delicious and price wise I felt was good value for London. We chose to eat inside. The bar like tables were great with plenty of space for dishes but because it was busy and there were 3 of us we found it a little difficult to hear each other. However this would not put me off visiting again. Keep doing what you are doing and stay authentic!

Table outside ready on time. Helpful waitress suggested great bottle of red however they only had one left! Food was delicious as always and different from what’s available elsewhere

Great experience - fabulous food and wine, and the service was super. We requested to move inside as it was quieter, and this request was accommodated very graciously.

avoid it. eye-popping prices. we had bacalhau à Brás . but the cod was difficult to find , only few lone flakes lost under a mass of greasy potatoes. Not up to expectations

Service was excellent! Nice atmosphere and the food looked great! The food tasted a bit bland unfortunately though.

I love this place. The food is fantastic. It's very close to Barrafina in terms of quality at 1/3 the price. The service is good, but the food is what keeps us coming back. This was our 20th (or so) visit.

The service staff and cooks were very nice and friendly. The tuna was amazing and some excellent wines were offered to us (off menu). The counter facing the kitchen is the place to be! The tomatoes with vingarette were delicious, the sausage croquettes were also stand out. The nice cream was also very nice.
