Our elegant and comfortable dining space is adorned with blue and white azulejo tiles, a perfect setting for business meetings, intimate dinners and after work drinks. Portuguese tapas are so good, especially at Bar Douro. They have Portuguese waitresses, and as a Portuguese person, I love that because, honestly, people who go to Bar Douro get recommendations from people who have eaten Portuguese food all their lives. They know what they are recommending for you. The sausage croquettes, the octopus salad, the potatoes with garlic, the prawns ( Gambás ao Guilho” the Bacalhau a Bras, and the Artichoke salad were our pick tonight, and it didn't disappoint at all; we also had the Pasteis de nata with cinnamon ice cream and the Portuguese style fig cake with vanilla ice cream. We had a fantastic choice of food, and honestly, next time, I will eat the cod fish fritters because they are excellent, too. My friend enjoyed her birthday dinner. The Ginjinha cocktails were refreshing and tasty, and the port wine was great for dessert.

Fantastic food, wine and port! Great service and a buzzy atmosphere. We had a really special meal and will most definitely return in the future.

Burnt cabbage was delicious and the sausage croquettes! Recommend sitting at the bar to watch the chef’s do their magic!

We had a great time at Bar Duoro. I’m coeliac and dairy free and by telling them in advance I was welcomed with a menu which had everything marked that I could eat. They checked in and regularly informed me what I could or couldn’t eat. The food itself was very tasty (although we ordered a bit too much and couldn’t finish it!). Service was friendly and attentive and drinks were tasty. Would definitely recommend

Have eaten here multiple times. The food is exceptional. I love the “tapas” size plates. Even with just 2 people, you can share variety of dishes.

The food was brilliant and delicious! This is a real gem of a find in the heart of the square mile, nice location and the food was to die for. Would go back everyday if I could afford it.

Food is great and the environment is very cozy. The balalhau (cod) and the pork were the best dish of the menu
