Located on the rooftop of Grayson Hotel, Bar Cima welcomes guests into an intimate lounge with elevated cocktail service and breathtaking views of New York City from the Empire State Building to both the East and Hudson Rivers. Our outdoor patio is open for the season and serves frozen margaritas, tiki cocktails, and relaxed, al fresco vibes.

Reservations are available. Outdoor patio seating is first come, first served, weather permitting.

Everyone was very nice but not attentive enough. Our guacamole was brown. The drinks were great loved them the view the ambiance honestly the staff just needs to be more attentive.

Drinks and food were great. Although service wasn’t good at all. We started with one server and after our second drinks she disappeared. Nobody was really taking care of us until I had to look for someone else and it wasn’t even a server. She was a server helper and she was very nice and attentive. Overall, if it wasn’t for her I would have left the place.

I tried to celebrate the anniversary with my bf last night, there was no one to greet us when we arrived. The overall service was poor, which gave me a very bad experience.

We sat down around 10:20pm and were told the kitchen was closed on a Saturday night. We were only able to eat gauc and chips. The place was packed. No clue how they can justify closing the kitchen so early especially when they’re only making quesadillas and tacos. There was one server for the whole place and she was clearly overwhelmed. The view is beautiful but was disappointed with the service.

We did not receive the food we ordered, the drinks weren’t spectacular and the view felt more like we were looking at “buildings” as opposed to looking at New York City. We also had a weird experience where our waitress took our credit card before we could order (as if establishing a tab) and then we never saw her again. Drinks were delivered (again… bleh) and we never got our food so we decided to leave. Then a new waiter gave us the bill and asked for our credit card. When we asked why the previous waitress took our card, he had no idea why she did that. I feel like there is a communication problem between the waitstaff and/or my credit number was stolen. I am now tracking all of my purchases on that card more diligently. Just not a great experience, especially for something that will charge more for the “rooftop experience “.

The view was incredible. The waiter told us they had a big party the night before and they were out of all white wine. Could not understand why some could not be delivered from the hotel bar downstairs. We ordered two vodka tonics that were very watered down with little ice in them. Food menu is very limited.

In meiner Bewertung geht es nicht um das Essen (wir hatten keins), sondern um die Cocktails. Wir hatten vier verschiedene Cocktails und keiner davon hat gut geschmeckt. Fünf Personen sind gleicher Meinung. Für die hohen Preise bekommt man sonstwo in New York Besseres. Das akustische Ambiente ist sehr laut durch die extrem lauten Unterhaltungen der Gäste, wobei in USA meist die weiblichen Gäste unangenehm auffallen. Der Ausblick und das optische Ambiente sind sehr schön mit einem tollen Blick auf das Empire State Building. Wir hatten noch eine Reservierung für den Folgetag, die wir sogleich nach dem ersten Besuch der Bar abgesagt haben, weil wir nicht glauben, dort Cocktails zu bekommen, die uns schmecken würden. Die Var sendet nach dem Besuch eine Email, damit man eine Vewertung abgeben kann. Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten: „Excellent“ oder „Poor“. Nur wenn man „Excellent“ drückt, kommt man weiter. So sind dann die guten Bewertungen des CIMA zu erklären.
