Bar Chinois is recognized for its constantly-evolving Chinese menu and French-inspired cocktail and wine program. Located in Mount Vernon Triangle, Bar Chinois is a short walk from the Washington Convention Center, Capital One Arena, National Mall and Union Station. We offer happy hour specials Tuesday-Sunday from 5 pm-7 pm and a bottomless brunch on weekends.

Come party with us at Bar Chinois for our monthly Drag Brunch hosted by Cake Pop! The theme this month is BRITNEY vs. CHRISTINA so wear your best pop princess outfit and get ready to party millennial style. Tickets are $35. Food and beverage are a la carte. We also have a bottomless drinks option for $30 before and during the show which includes bottomless mimosas, select beers and Stateside vodka spritzers until 3:00pm. All reservations can be seated as early as 12pm and the show begins at 1pm. Tickets are non-refundable and adults age 21+ only. Don't forget to bring cash for tipping entertainers!

Great drinks that are very reasonable for happy hour. Dollar dumplings for happy hour are fantastic. All of the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Went during Happy Hour and the food was a good as the vibe. $1 dumplings is the deal of the City. We will be back!!

My group had a late Sunday brunch. Food and service was great, however, their A/C wasn't working properly which made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. I wish they would've communicated this to their patrons before seating them. It would've been the considerate thing to do.

Very pleased with the visit! The food was filling and our server Maya was so attentive and took very good care of me and my family! I loved the red wontons and the crème brulee

Good date night option filled with lots of energy. Visited DC from New York and this was one of the recommendations. Don’t regret it at all! Will come again for the next visit.

This was a place I was really looking forward to for restaurant week. With all its critical acclaim I was excited to try it. The place has a great vibe. The food was just ok. Delicious enough for the $25 brunch plus great value with $20 bottomless mimosas.

My friend and I dined here during restaurant week. Our food order was messed up and took extremely long. It was not super crowded, we had a change in waitress and the service was still bad. At the end of our three course meal, the manager came up to our table and offered us free shots however no one in our party drinks. The food is good, but the service is not so great.

We got there a little late and when our server Marianna (I think that was her name) we cut her off to see if she could possibly put a round of happy hour drinks and food in before 7pm. It was 6.59 and she was an absolute team player getting that done for us. Dumplings and cocktails were all great. We did restaurant week and were pleasantly surprised how hearty all our dishes were. The créeme brulee was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place.
