Please join us at Bar Cecil for a delightful evening. We welcome parties of 5 or fewer guests (limited space for parties of 5). Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate larger parties.

We book tables for 2 hours. Last dinner orders are taken at 9 pm and we close the bar at 10 pm. We've gone cashless and happily accept credit and debit cards.

Due to our small size, tables with separate reservations can not be combined. Please reserve online; if OpenTable is not showing availability, we're fully booked or it is more than 14 days out. We accept reservations up to 30 days out. Our bar is always walk-in and we open at 5 pm (the bar list is usually full around 4:30 pm).

Bet Cecil was everything I hoped it would be. The vibes were EXCELLENT, the service great, the cocktails were just the right amount of boozy, and the food was 10/10. Do yourself a favor — don’t skip the bread with the sage & date butter, it was a revelation! The oysters, steak frites, pork chop and lemon tart were also exceptional. All around wonderful time and we will absolutely be back!

We are regulars and Bar Cecil never disappoints. Great food and warm friendly staff. This time we were there with friends who also loved it. A winner!

We were really looking forward to this and were really disappointed. Our server was not interested in taking care of us at all. The patio was super cute and a comfortable temperature on a really hot night, my steak frites were great but our server never introduced himself, spent no time with us and we had to flag down another server to order a second round of drinks. When we sat down we were crammed in between two tables and the table to my left ordered and I jokingly thought I’d love to see the food come out before we order so we can see their dishes and guess what? Their food did come out before our server came back to take our order. I wanted to ask him what he recommended or if he had any favorites which I usually do but by then I could already tell he didn’t care and wasn’t interested in spending any additional time with us. Then the people on our right left and a new table was sat and they got their food before we did. The table behind us who sat 30 mins after us got their food at the same time as us. And it really was just our guy because I watched the other servers shake everyone at their tables hands before they left. When we walked out our guy was in front of the restaurant with the hostesses. Overall we would have had a great experience if we were taken care of but instead we probably will not be back.

Lived up to all of its recommendations… service, quality, and atmosphere were outstanding. The patio was more than comfortable in the record-setting October heat.

Bar Cecil was the highlight of our Palm Springs trip. Best steak frites ever, and the nicest wait staff. Gorgeous patio. Don’t miss.

We had a fantastic experience – it was a little hard to get reservations and we ultimately got them for outside, but considering the excessive heat wave, it was a lovely experience outside and we were situated right next to a fan where they were very thoughtful about how they placed our tables together. It didn’t feel hot at all! Our waiter, Tony, was also fantastic. The food was delicious!

We were seated outside at 5:45 and were worried about the heat, but we were near a large fan and it wasn’t as hot as we expected. Portions are large, waiter Tony, was fantastic.
