Convivial, boisterous, social. Loving attention to detail recreates an authentic French bistro from the imported Parisian zinc bar to the tiled floors and brings it to the Connecticut shoreline. Always exemplary. Long overdue date with the missus which began with some of Shane’s creative libations and the divine steak tartare. She had the coq au vin which was soul warming, and I had the halibut special which was inventive and delicious. Always the best meal from the best people in one of the coziest settings. Merci!

Excellent, as always! The escargot was delicious as well as the Halibut and Coq au vin. Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic service. A very special place!

Delicious dinner--rillettes, coq au vin, and chocolate dessert with an excellent wine. Efficient service in a small, comfortable environment.

Outstanding classic French but with “modern” twists. Preparation was flawless. Presentation excellent. Bartender (we sat at the bar) was attentive despite being crazy busy. All around one of the best meals & experiences we have had anywhere. Highly recommended & we will return when we’re back in the area.

I love this restaurant, but for the first time did not have a good experience. Our appetizers took 55 minutes to come out. And the food was just so sell for the first time.

We love this place. We have come here for family events this year, birthday, anniversary etc. Unfortunately even tho we made a reservation well in advance we got placed at the “ bad” table outdoors. But no matter: the food and service were excellent. And the tiny restaurant is NOT noisy. Lovely place lovely ambiance. Of course we will be back.

Great place for a special dinner since it is on the expensive side. French themed and reliable high quality. Not too many places with foie gras on the menu. The mussels are a particularly good choice.
