Hidden in the upstairs of its sibling restaurant Avelo; in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street, Bar Avelo serves up cocktails, wine, and other drinks. In an intimate Victorian inspired space, it features dramatic arched ceilings and lush velvet textiles. Bar Avelo boasts an a la carte Tapas menu from the same creative mind of Avelo Restaurant's Head Chef Fernando Anrango, and serves up some of the finest plant-based bites in the city.

    We had a wonderful night dining at Azura. We had the blind taste tasting menu and absolutely love the food, but above and beyond the food with the service. Scott, our server was excellent, so accommodating and kind and knowledgeable. The hostess made us handmade birthday cards to celebrate our special event and at the end of the evening our dessert came with candles, and Scott ran out and took a Polaroid of us for us to remember the evening by. I can’t remember being this impressed with any restaurant in Toronto, what a wonderful place to go for a celebration!

    The food was excellent. We sampled the fruity fungi and mushroom truffle flatbread, alongside kimchi crackers that packed a spicy punch, and arugula flatbread—all of which were delightful. The smokey pear drink, crafted with mezcal, was strong and exceptionally delicious.
