Bao Brewhouse is a multi-concept restaurant, the first floor is known as the Tap Room, in which you will find service via QR codes, WALK-IN'S ONLY, Chinese street food inspired fare and a local rotating draft list.
The second floor is known as our Tea Room, there you will find a more traditional dining experience with a twist. The Tea Room menu and ambiance lend to more curated and intimate affair, with a vast tea selection ranging from herbal to puer, a thoughtfully selected wine list with a tea-centric cocktail program to satisfy even the most adventurous of palates. The Tea room has a DJ every Tuesday, Thursday - Saturday giving the room a not-so-stuffy feeling.

**Please note** Bao Brewhouse holds two separate flights of stairs to enter each of the two dining rooms. The building does NOT have an elevator. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Poor service and frustrating experience. Our main dishes were super delayed in coming out… over an hour after we ordered, I had to ask about them to just get an update… then, after an hour and half when we finally got them, the manager came to our table and explained to us that we should have expected a longer wait time, and then lectured our table about how kitchen operations work - super rude. 1. no one gave us a heads up about needing over an hour to bring out our steak and grilled octopus dishes. We had to ask. 2. We had already paid and needed to leave and that’s when the manager decided she’d take the time to lecture our table about kitchen ops. 3. Over 2hours, Our server never refilled waters or gave us updates on food unless we asked. We ordered about $500 worth of food and drinks and paid a $120 gratuity for crappy service. So unfortunate as this used to be our go-to spot before ball arena events.

Food was great. Server was on top of it. Great place. Second time I’ve eaten here, great both times. Next time I’m in Denver I’ll be back

Food was amazing and tasty! It’s a loud place but that’s kinda the vibe, they have a dj there! But it’s hard to talk and hear your friends. They were out of the soup dumpling by 7:00pm which was a bummer but the other food items were amazing!

Went for AYCE Dumpling night. Dumplings were okay but overall you have to remember your in Denver not Japan. Dumplings had decent flavor but each batch tasted different than the one before - and would fall apart easily (probably due to sitting in steamers for to long cause sure they batch cook like crazy on Tuesdays). For an AYCE deal the staff did seem very rushed to get you in and out with it. We had one round and our server acted surprised when we asked for another. Overall decent spot and concept, just experience overall could have been better for how much hype it seems to have on social media.

Bao Brewhouse did not disappoint! The drink menu, the appetizers (the shrimp and mushroom dumplings) to splitting the whole snapper. We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend everyone to get down there and try it!
