Bao Brewhouse is a multi-concept restaurant, the first floor is known as the Tap Room, in which you will find service via QR codes, WALK-IN'S ONLY, Chinese street food inspired fare and a local rotating draft list.
The second floor is known as our Tea Room, there you will find a more traditional dining experience with a twist. The Tea Room menu and ambiance lend to more curated and intimate affair, with a vast tea selection ranging from herbal to puer, a thoughtfully selected wine list with a tea-centric cocktail program to satisfy even the most adventurous of palates. The Tea room has a DJ every Tuesday, Thursday - Saturday giving the room a not-so-stuffy feeling.

**Please note** Bao Brewhouse holds two separate flights of stairs to enter each of the two dining rooms. The building does NOT have an elevator. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We LOVE Bao Brewhouse. This is one of my TOP 3 favorite restaurants in Denver!!! The food is always soooo good & the service is consistently great! Caleb has waited on us a couple of times, and he’s wonderful. Love the atmosphere, decor, vibes and music. It’s energetic, and the music is upbeat. My 9-month old baby took a 30-45 minute nap while we ate in the Tea Room during our most recent visit, so it isn’t THAT loud. We love it here! We have been at least 6 times and will DEFINITELY be back soon! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

David was an excellent waiter. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. The lighting was very dim and music very loud. Made it difficult to enjoy conversation but exciting and creative and the food was all very good. We enjoyed everything from hot snd sour soup, tamachi, Brussels and shisheido peppers, short rib and Especially the whole fried snapper. Fun experience and creative cocktails. Next time we will try downstairs and more dim sum. We will be back.

This place is like a nightclub where you can have some delicious Asian food. The shared plates are huge, so they make the prices worth it.

Great experience overall! Prices were a little higher than what I think they should be for the portions you get, but that’s my only complaint. Expensive drinks. Food was good and atmosphere was fantastic.

Service took a long time. Did the date night meal For two special and didn’t seem too much of a deal. The sake flight was four pours and not setup for sharing. A lot of items dim sum and the dessert were served in odd numbers not created for “sharing”. Service was delayed and took a long time between courses and drinks. Food was tasty but menu descriptions did not match the food itself - example would be the tuna tartar, it was not minced but more like ahi tuna big chunks and the avocado mouse was a guacamole, the dish tasted good but was not a tartar so either need to update the menu or the dish needs to match the description.

Went to Bao for their "bottomless dumplings" and was massively disappointed. The bottomless dumplings only applies to ONE item on the menu - that means you can eat all you want of one type of dumpling. That's like going to Cold Stone Creamery for an "all you can eat ice cream" event and being told you can eat as much ice cream as you want - so long as it's vanilla only. To be fair, the dumplings are very, very good - but who goes for dim sum and eats one thing? Service was ridiculously slow and our specific wait person was not attentive at all. The folks who were delivering our food from the kitchen were very friendly and personable. We shared the dumplings, shrimp shumai, cheese & crab rangoon, crispy 1/2 duck, mother cluckers, and the yuzu tuna tartare. The tuna was a shining star - I could eat that every day for the rest of my life and be happy. The dumplings and rangoon were also excellent. The shumai, mother clucker, and duck were all only "ok". The visual ambiance in the tea room is great, but the music is way too loud. You really have to shout to talk to you partner across the table.

The food is always good here but diners should know the service is often quite slow, the music is blaring and club-like, and the all you can eat Tuesday dumplings includes only one dumpling type. Quite misleading as I can’t imagine many people would want to pay $30 for one dumpling type that takes 20 min in between orders.

Matt B was awesome! He recommended delicious dim sum and cocktails, and kept the dumplings rolling all night. Great time!

Food was good but super slow coming out. Have to do all ordering online so that also lost some appeal.

The food was so good. Service was quick and kind. Noise upstairs was so excessive. I do wonder if it was not as loud on the far side away from the bar.
