Bansho is one of our favourite local restaurants. The food is beautifully presented and tastes delicious. There's a large variety of local and imported wines available. The restaurant has a lovely relaxing ambience.

What an amazing restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the team was so friendly. We will definitely be back on a regular basis, based on our experience on Friday evening. A credit to the whole team at Bansho!!

Amazing food, outstanding service and a great space all made for a very enjoyable evening. Even though we’re moving out of the area, we’ll definitely be returning on a regular basis. Adelaide’s loss is definitely Armadale's gain with this venue.

We dined here last night for the first time and were so very impressed with the whole experience! The food was perfectly balanced with so many surprising and delightfully unique combinations, it was light yet filling, and paired with perfect wines & cocktails, we left feeling very happy. Even the bathroom was immaculate and smelled divine! Huge appreciation for the wait staff who were completely lovely and attentive. We will be back!

Better than Nobu. One of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Incredible Japanese food. Stunning setting.

Set in an area distinguished by unobtrusive quiet decor food is served on good sized tables. Cloth serviettes, no table cloths. All dishes were good to excellent. Pot of broth (Dobin Mushi) was rather ordinary, Bansho sushimi very fresh but the fish a little thicker than expected. Snow crab sushi disappointing but Blue Eye perfect in an unusual, delicate slightly lime tasting cream sauce quite excellent. Waitstaff personable but a little slow. Expensive, as expected. If you can afford it definitely worth a visit.
