OMG. From the moment we walked into the restaurant until we left everything was perfect. A party of 6, celebrating our 50 year wedding anniversary. The variety of drinks available would impress the most discerning person. Most of us had entrees, mains and sweets, which were all sensational. Prawns, scallops, empanadas, calamari and croquettes were our entree choices. Mains were bugs, barramundi both grilled and battered, pork and 2 lamb dishes. Sweets, semifredo, salted brownie and apple crumble. Not a complaint from any of us, as the food was exceptional and our server, Anna, from Brazil, was lovely to talk to and her service was great too. For a special occasion Banksia is the place to go!!!

Been here twice both times ordered the Bugs and they were amazing. My partner got the steak and he said it was cook perfectly and the best he’s had. The staff are so welcoming and all so lovely which made the experience so much better! The atmosphere of the place is just set out so nicely. Would definitely recommend and will be a place I choose whenever I want to go for a dinner!

When we sat down the staff came pretty fast. Took our drink and food order. Drinks came and they were wrong which had to get changed. The food came, the wife got eye fillet with a large jac photo and a tiny salad size of a baby's hand for $85. and I got the seafood cob loaf $48 Let's just say my seafood cob loaf was cob 80%sauce 4 prawns 1 calamari ring cut up and 3 tiny pieces of fish size of a 20cent peice. Pretty disappointed. We were excited to come but left disappointed leaving either a $155 dinner bill.

A lovely evening. A friendly greeting when we arrived and the waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. Food options were excellent. We ordered the second menu which was lovely but very big serves. Couldn’t quite get through the steak but it was perfectly cooked. The honey cake was delicious but just a little dry. The wine we ordered went perfectly with our dinner but thought that the wine list could have been a little more comprehensive. I highly recommend and would love to visit again soon and try some more dishes

Best tasting meals we’ve had in the Bay.. Loved the ambient guitar playing by Doug Edwards - his quiet cover of John Williamson’s “True Blue” was masterfully played. Wait staff were attentive and polite. Great mix of new inexperienced waitresses and older experienced wait staff. Compliments to the chef. “Magnefic”
