Banks is a fantastic place for fine dining. They have a nice bar to start off the evening with huge wine, beer and cocktail selections. Nice they have seating outdoors along the waterfront. Excellent raw bar with nice oysters selection. The Thai mushroom and shrimp soup and the Maryland crab soup were excellent choices to start the meal. As for entrees the lobster cioppino was fabulous. My wife had split the crab cake and scallops as appetizers which were delicious. Service was great; our server Ryan took very good care of our table. We highly recommend Banks so try it out and you will enjoy it immensely.

We came to Delaware on vacation and wanted seafood so we chose this place. Everything was lovely— setting food and service. Plus, free parking in the city! We started with crab cake— your choice of sauce. The ‘lobster in the Nude’ was wonderful— all the taste without any of the work. I got steak Diane (wow) so we had an impromptu surf and turf. Veggies perfect. Luckily, we went for it and ordered dessert— a stunning lava cake and key lime torte. Amazing. With drinks a very reasonable bill, too.

Good variety of oysters but we were out of luck looking for PEI ones. Dover scallops were tasty with unique sauce and the salmon was decent.

Wonderful subtly sea-themed decor, friendly and prompt but not intrusive service, and fresh seafood. Definitely a special occasion dining experience.

We had an assortment of the fresh oysters and the seafood nachos - all were delicious and beautifully presented. Service as excellent....

We initially visited for lunch on the 4th of July. Service was excellent, food came quickly. We had fish and chips- fish and accompanying asparagus were excellent, and ahi tuna tacos, also very good. We returned late that evening for dessert and were not disappointed. At that time the restaurant was extremely crowded, but the host knowing that we had come for just dessert accomodated us immediatley. Overall an excellent experience. The staff is friendly and very efficient.

Food was great! My only comment would be that the crab dip have a bit more crab. Salmon croquettes, calamari, truffle fries were all amazing! and that was just to start! Add this restaurant to your to do list.
