Seated outside which we asked for but were around loud parties making our experience disappointing. Food was average, service was challenging as I think we were the only table in our area that our server had and we were at the far end.

My wife and I had a fantastic meal at Banks’ while sitting on their nicely dabbed shaded porch. Stacy took great care of us and the meals exceeded our expectations. Watching the activities on the water while dining was very relaxing. We followed up the meal with an enjoyable walk along the riverfront.

I love a consistent product….and that’s what you’ll get at Banks….also, do yourself a favor and ask for Patrick as your waiter, he’s great!

This restaurant is located overlooking the river with a lovely patio The food is good, but not outstanding. The service staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a bit noisy as they had a band playing in the evening

Delicious fresh oysters, wonderful shaved Brussels sprouts salad and scrumptious and perfectly cooked diver sea scallops. Our waiter was wonderful and allowed us a taste of the French Chardonnay before we ordered glasses (which was delicious!) The most decadent dessert for sharing-the Lava cupcake with raspberry sauce. Yum!!!

This is an old standard in a great setting which delivers high quality food through excellent service at a fair price. The winelist is always interesting and again, fairly priced. Our lunch was with two friends who are sophisticated world travelers from Birmingham AL and they were duly impressed, especially thrilled by the passage of the historic tall ship Kalmar Nyckel, which is always a delight.
