We’re Banff’s living room. We share Banff’s real mountain lifestyle – active living by day, living actively by night. Banff Ave Brewing is a place where locals come to share the stories of their mountain experience and plan the next one, and where out-of-town visitors come to feel comfortable and soak in the real Banff. We're stoked to offer three different spaces, two of which you can reserve tables for:

The Pub
Get comfy and hunker down for après-whatever in Banff’s almost-secret hideaway. Enjoy great craft brews and all your pub favourites in a casual venue that’ll make you feel like a local, no matter where you’re from.

The Lodge
Climb on up to our newest casual dining spot with an easy-going approach. Anchor in for Banff’s legit take on Detroit-style deep-dish pizza (if you know, you know), along with pasta and small plates – perfect for sharing with the crew.

Was one of the busy days of the year in Banff with the Mellisa’s race. Service extraordinary and food great.

We sat down immediately. The waitress was very nice and the food we ate was very good. The elk burger was the best.

Loved the stroganoff (comfort food). The falafel wrap was also great. Our waiter was perfectly friendly.

Wonderful spot for a quick bite. The waiter was excellent and extremely helpful for first time travelers to this region. Food was very tasty.

The beer here is great and we loved the balcony views. The food was subpar, though. One entree came out more than 5 minutes before the others, the fish in the fish and chips were small pieces with tons of breading. The stroganoff was dry and needed way more sauce. The burger was average - nothing special. Go for the beer, not the food.

We were led to a high top table despite specifying a low table at the time of booking. We were then reluctantly shown to a large low table, far to big for a party of 3 even though there were numerous tables available. The table in question was in desperate need of a clean as items were sticking to it. On the plus side the wait staff were very friendly and efficient and the food, while being typical bar food, was of good quality with generous portions.

No A/C was hit and everyone was fanning themselves. 1/2 off apps for Friday happy hour was nice.
