Join us for Afternoon Tea at Banca di Roma. Our acclaimed head chef, Giuseppe, has created a menu that brings together the timeless elegance of British afternoon tea with the rich flavours and creativity of Italian cuisine. Classic afternoon tea served with tea and coffee is £35 per person, with the option to elevate your afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco, Franciacorta, or Moet Chandon. Available daily from 12pm to 5pm. Booking is required 24 hours in advance. Available 7 days 12noon-4.30pm.

Great menu with a range of Italian classics. Reasonable price for the presentation and quality. Drinks were very good. The spritz are a must. Staff were fantastic. Lovely restaurant and ambience. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Second visit for our anniversary and was disappointed. We got seated under the staircase!! Which isn’t ideal at the best of times but especially not when 9 months pregnant. View of underneath the stairs was not great and when I told the waiter this he mentioned how glasweigans don’t complain?! Our mains took a long time to come out, meat was massively undercooked, again being 9 months pregnant I couldn’t eat this and they also forgot our pasta. Felt like we had to chase up the servers for drinks etc as maybe we were forgotten about being packed under the stairs?! Also added a £25 service charge which we felt was a bit steep considering.

Lovely place and ambience was good but the food wasn't fantastic for the price we paid. 2 of us ordered prawns which came with the tails and heads on. Once we had removed all the shells etc we were left with 5 tiny prawns and a salad. So, to say we were still hungry was an understatement. 12% was automatically added to the bill for service, which I do not like. I would like to be given the opportunity to rate the service of my own accord and tip as I see fit. I asked for this charge to be removed, which was, without a problem. We had also booked a table in the bar upstairs for after our meal. The cocktails were amazing and not overly priced but yet again the 12% service charge was added. All in all I wouldn't rush back and we had to stop at the local chippy on the way home.

Avoid getting steak had fillet and ribeye from here nothing special got 600g ribeye last night and it was tiny think they gave me the 300g by accident was well done when asked for medium and flavour was average. Pizza and pasta were good starters were ok.

Amazing ambience, great food. Starters and mains were great . The cheesecake is the best I have ever had. I’ll definitely be back.
