We have been to Banana Boat several other times but this was not our best visit. Perhaps just and an off night? I ordered burger sliders medium rare and they were basically medium well done. Another guest at our table ordered the fish fry and requested extra crispy and it was no different than the other guest that ordered the fish fry as regularly served. We mentioned these issues to the waitress not intending to send them back but just for her to know and pass on to the kitchen that they did not act on our requests. She just said that she wrote it down so.... kind of like :oh well" The onion soup and the clam chowder were both good. Our waitress was not engaging and didn't really make us feel like she was particularly happy to be there. The restaurant was very busy and the folks work hard but I feel like part of why I go to a restaurant is to feel like they are happy to have our business. Maybe that is old fashion? We will give it another try but hope that it is a better experience next time.

It's a lovely spot right on the water! Food is very tasty and portions are generous !

great outdoor seating right on inland waterway. super attentive wait staff. free valet parking. BUT. seems like some of the food value and quality has gone down. sweet potato fries were luke warm. crab cake app appeared to have a bite out of it. broiled mix seafood dinner was surprisingly sparse. coconut shrimp as always was great!

Fish and chips weren’t fully cooked and soggy Manager compensated price and was attentive But It was disappointing

Everything was wonderful the only problem is we had a 7:30 reservation but weren’t seated till 8:00 I understand it was a Saturday night but the wait was a little too long

We had a wonderful time and the best service. Our server was Cassie and she was tremendous. Probably the best server we have had in Florida. She anticipated our needs without being intrusive and made our dinner even more enjoyable. Thank you for a great night with our best friends.
