This hip and trendy restaurant and lounge is set in a meticulously restored 19th century colonial Sugar-mill with an enormous terrace with an amazing view of Simpson Bay. Award winning Sushi and Steak with Sushi chefs hailing from Nobu, Morimoto, and Makodo. Hot kitchen features aged steaks and fresh fish. Lots of appetizers including our famous Duck Nachos and Dumplings. Great for large groups and parties. Our in house DJ drives the vibe, inspiring nightly sunsets from high atop Diamond Mountain.
Bamboo's Sushi rolls are legendary, having won best sushi for 20 consecutive years. Serving late night fares and amazing true craft cocktails at our Bamboo Bar, starting at 5pm for sunsets until late into the night.

Every Thursday is Gatsby Night. The Band starts at 8:00 The Regular menu is in effect. Divas of St Maarten is Wednesday night where the best female singers and female performers appear. There is a $5.00 per person music charge added to everyone's bill.

We ate at Bamboo House two years ago and it was amazing. We actually ate two times on our trip in 2022 because it was so amazing. I would say 10/10 (Look at Google review). August of 2024, totally different story. The service was awful. The server was a 1 start and the runners were a 3. That is why I rated a 2. The server tried to add an extra drink to our bill. The food was edible but surprisingly forgettable. So sad :(.

I arrived first at 7 was seated and ordered a cocktail my guesses arrived just after I was served my cocktail around 7:05 - 7:10. We ordered 2 bottles of water and 5 cocktails Water was served and 3 appetizers were ordered approximately 7:15 - 7:20pm. Approximately 15 minutes later 1 appetizer was served and server stated that the others will be out shortly. Still no cocktails and it’s around 7:30 - 7:40 Large table that was seated 30 minutes after us received their appetizers and drinks before us and the other table of 2 persons received their drinks also and they also had a problem and sent back their drinks. We got up and left at approximately 7:50 - 7:55. And still no drinks. It is not just that the food was taking long but mainly no one should have to wait 30 to 40 minutes to get a drink. And how is it that others that came after us got served before us. This is the second time I’ve been there and had a bad experience. Nice atmosphere but lousy service.
