Baluchi, the signature Pan Indian restaurant has set the bar when it comes to progressive Indian cuisine, with the use of rare herbs and exotic spices.

A special attraction of the restaurant is the Naanery i.e. the bread bar offering a selection of artisanal breads baked in an unusual iron tandoor instead of the universally used clay tandoor.

The Restaurant’s wine cellar features a range of old and new world wines, that can be paired with the bread & chutney combination for an authentic Baluchi Rhapsody!

                                                                                                    Lovely food but very expensive. Bill came to well over £400 for 4 people with no starters. Also were asked to leave at 10:30pm so they could close up which was odd when paying so much and we booked a table at 8pm

                                                                                                    Good ambience with lovely decor. Menu is good but felt tacky in presentation : low quality plastic sheets. Drinks were on A6 while food menu was bigger than A4. There is no tasting menu - I love restaurants where chefs want to bring the best of menu together in a tasting menu. Food was tasty and portions were good. Waitress was good but her supervisors were not helpful. I wanted my old fashioned with Woodford Reserve. He went on a spiel on why he needs to explain how the pricing works - even after I said I am good with the extra. It is a good place with nice setting and good food but does not feel fine dining though the pricing is for fine dining.

                                                                                                    Gaurav, what an outstanding human. He made our dinner experience the best Indian meal we have had in the UK in 50+ years. The food and drinks were superb. The ambiance of the old school assembly hall perfect. The service excellent. Well done and thank you. A perfect finish to a wonderful weekend in one of the top capitals of the world!

                                                                                                    Too spicey (and I’m Indian and asked for mild). Ambience was great and my waitress was too. The chicken tikka appetizer had a lovely complexity of flavor but barely edible for spice level. The lamshank was perfect texture but somewhat bland. I had asked for less spicey which may have impacted it, but I Cooke Indian food - there are ways to tone down the heat without toning down the flavor.

                                                                                                    This is the best Indian Restaurant in Greater London, bar none. The food is to die for. We met the chef, who came out to say hi after the meal and discussed the ingredients. Every item was carefully sourced and prepared—stunning, unbelievably tasty food. I unreservedly recommend Bakuchi.

                                                                                                    Our family dined at Baluchi in The LaLit in Delhi. Having totally fallen in love with their exclusive Daal Baluchi dish, we decided to return to The LaLit based in London Bridge. We had the most wonderful dinner, just so authentically Indian and not only ‘food-wise’ but down to intricate details such as the decor which we learnt was shipped in from India! Each dish transported us back to Delhi and I would highly recommend. Keen to go back already. Fantastic service and team, thank you very much.
