Come to Balmoral for the traditional Sunday Roasts, offered all day on Sundays. Choose from lamb, chicken, beef, salmon and stuffed pepper. Served with soup or salad, roast potato, butter mashed potato, Highland herb pudding and rich gravy. Plus garden peas, honey carrots, cauliflower with cheese sauce and green beans. This is how they do it across the British Isles. Served until we sell out — and we sell out often. Start with our homemade bread and butter, then choose a bowl of Cock-A-Leekie Soup, or Green Pea and Ham Soup, or a House Mixed Salad. *Brown gravy is not served with these roasts. Been to Balmoral several times. Food is very good. Always comes out steaming hot. Try the stuffed red peppers, it’s my favorite dish! My husband loves the Bangers and Mash. What always keeps me coming back is the cocktail Robert the Bruce. If you can get just to try that, you won’t be disappointed!Cet avis est-il utile ?

We went here to celebrate our anniversary. It was a wonderful evening :) The bagpipe serenade and complimentary dessert made it feel extra special! Balmoral is always fabulous! Their cocktails are unique and the menu is solidly Scottish. We've been many times and come for special occasions -- last night was our anniversary. We enjoyed the smoked Finnan haddock dip with toast points and it was, as usual wonderful. For entrees my husband ordered the pork chops which were moist and flavorful, and I tried the Manor House duck --- outstanding with a mild sauce. Balmoral is a beautiful restaurant in Wasco. We decided to stay in the warm bar area by the fire. Earl, the bartender, is such a great person. Our duck and pheasant dinners were filled with of flavor and delicious. Our only complaint is the high prices on the entrees. Outstanding food, service and beverages. Great atmosphere, this is a must try if you havent gone. The menu is vast with Scottish dishes, but also familiar meals as well. Shepards pie is insanely good, the fish and chips are the best in Chicagoland, and great desserts as well. Definitely at a minimum, this place is great fr special occasions. We have gone numerous times and the quality of everything is superb. Friendly, warm and inviting, the employees are fun and professional. We went for a friend’s birthday. She loved the Happy Birthday bagpipe serenade, very unique. The atmosphere of Balmoral is very nice, loved the Royal Albert china that our meal was served on. It’s not noisy inside so you can actually hear what your friends are saying. The service was excellent. The food was very good. Prices for food is a bit high, the drink prices are very high. $10 for a cup of basic coffee, for example. Overall, we enjoyed our evening at Balmoral. Wish the prices weren’t so high as this won’t be a regular outing for us. A meal for 4, with 3 alcoholic drinks was over $340.1 personne a trouvé cet avis utile
