We are a local community club that provides great quality bistro meals at affordable prices. We are located in the Bakery Hill historic precinct in Ballarat with great customer parking and within easy reach of two major shopping centres in Ballarat.
Our venue has multiple offerings in dining, bar and entertainment areas. The Bistro operates for lunch and dinner 7 days and offers a range of dining options including a light menu (available 7 days) and seniors menu (available Mon-Fri lunch & dinner).
Every Monday & Tuesday from 5.30pm the bistro offers 1 free kids meal* with every main meal (*cond. apply). Kids meals are available 7 days and include ice-cream & an activity pack which helps entertain the kids and give the adults more time to relax.
The Bistro also offers a range of free games for guests to borrow if they're looking to have a bit of fun before or after dining.

We provide quality bistro meals in a relaxed atmosphere, with a warm toasty fireplace once winter sets in. Space is available for larger group bookings. <br />Our sports bar has multiple channels tuned in to all different sports to satisfy any avid fan. High tables and buffet seating allow for groups to meet and enjoy their favourite sports in comfort.<br />

Kids meal was shocking about 5 chips and kids didn't even get icecream adults fish chips we got 2 x so full of oil in fish very unhappy

Hi Canan. That is disappointing to hear. Normally our fish is battered on site and we don't usually have complaints in regard to oiliness. Our oil is changed twice weekly and filters cleaned at the same time. I will speak to our kitchen staff and let them know so that it doesn't happen again. Thank you for your feedback.

Have not eaten here in ages. Really happy with the service and the food. I dont eat much and they have a light meals option for $20. My husband loved his steak. Great night out.

Always great service and am glad the chicken and Mushroom Risotto is still on the menu. Keep up the great work.

We had the steak and BBQ pork ribs. Both meals were cooked to perfection. Meals came out hot and in good time.

Thought our experience at BLC was fantastic. Friendly staff that could not be more helpful. Food was fantastic and great value for money with lots of variety. Catered to Gluten free which was great also. Great experience!!

Always great food and staff are always fantastic. 3 of us today 2 had Calamari and I had Chicken, Mushroom Risotto.

It was very busy so the 7 meals did take about an hour to arrive after the bus load got there meals. The staff were run off there feet with that mob of about 50 or so people. The food is always great, brother and family liked it so that's good ( they can be hard to please). A few of us did have an issue with the fire as we have Asthma, the irritation to eyes and made us cough a bit more than usual, but it was nice to see if on.

This was a late Mother's day lunch as I was unable to attend due to being on a white low fibre diet for surgery yesterday. But even the decorations were still up. The food was great, service is always great. 3 meals was only $101.
